Phil and Teds Universal Travel Bag

Waste of money - buyer beware – NOT a universal travel bag. I have a Babybee rover and this bag does NOT FIT the pram. It was not on their 'tested' list so I contacted customer service who assured me based on the dimensions that their bag would fit my pram. On contacting customer service after receiving the bag and realising their was no which way to fit my pram, I was refused a refund. Have wasted $150 on a product that is not fit for purpose. In my view the company misrepresented the suitability of their product for a sale and then didn't want to take responsibility for that. I will be taking this further - buyer beware!!

Good but not great – I have an iCandy strawberry which isn't a huge pram and there isn't enough length closing the bottom velcro flap compared to the top flap...so not that universal. However it had the best price point compared to other bags. I would have happily spent more with phil & teds for better quality. I don't think this bag will last long at all. The handle and the wheels (most important parts I would have thought) feel like they may last only a few trips. You wouldn't want to put too much weight into the bag because of this.

Extremely useful for putting stroller (City Mini) in – A huge bag, easily takes City Mini stroller, bedding, pack of nappies etc. I've used it for 2 trips so far (Melbourne - Brisbane; Melbourne Auckland) and its done well though I do think it won't last that well. The construction is light and the handle not up to the weight you could pack into this bag. If the bag is under packed and not tied up just right, the wheels don't protrude far enough to be used so you end up dragging the bag.

BUT...

Best available right now, price is reasonable. I will use it til it fails, and if its still the best around, probably get another!

Great travel case for pram- fits Bugaboo Cameleon3 – I recently used this to transport my bugaboo cameleon3 from Sydney to Hobart. It cost me $80 and performed really well. My bugaboo cameleon3 fitted in well (with wheels removed), and the pram was well protected. The cover has inbuilt wheels so you don't have to carry it. A great alternative to the $210 bugaboo option!!!
