Fraud Company – never buy this insurance, not even by mistake. I bought IphoneXS from officeworks and I bought insurance from DeviceEnsure. I lost my phone few days ago, I did lodge a complaint and provided all necessary documents. The lady was on the phone, trying to twist the matter and wanted to hear from the incident which was never happened just to decline the matter. I never recommend this insurance to buy at all in any of the cases, be aware !

Dont bother – Cracked phone screen, was given 3 to 5 days maximum turn around, great, as I use my phone for work a lot. Have to send off, not ideal but ok that's how it works. Don't hear back for a week, so get in touch and they just had my phone sitting on a shelf as they didn't know whose phone it was as the return address got wet in rain. Annoyed they did… Read more

not attempt to contact anyone sending in that particular phone make, They knew to expect my specific phone, not like a common iPhone... anyway, they tell me they will get onto it now they knew whose phone it was. told me they would get back to me tomorrow morning at the latest.

Didn't hear from them for another few days so call AGAIN. They tell me they couldn't fix my phone (it was only a cracked phone screen) so were going to arrange a quote for replacement or cash settlement. No apologies, no good customer service at all. Didnt call to tell me this. Tell me they will get back to me today with the answer. Dont hear back after a week. So call them AGAIN. They tell me they are still arranging quotes. No apologies or anything.

Took me 3 weeks of having to constantly call them up to figure out what was happening they did not call me once to tell me what was going on. terrible service, late delivery, and it sound like they just broke my phone and said it was "unfixable". Literally a cracked screen. Could and should have just done it myself.

Absolutely terrible insurance and customer service – Had phone insurance for my daughters iphone 6, she cracked the screen within 3 months of purchase - made a claim, emails I received from them had incorrect quotations - after a call to them was advised to take it to Apple for repairing and they would refund the difference. Never had any insurance before that requires payment for full amount of… Read more

repairs to be paid and then you get refunded the difference, that means I'm out of pocket how many many hundred dollars?? And how long before I receive monies owed?? Crap as!!! Legitimate insurance companies require the excess and then repairs/replacements are made, not the other bloody way around!!!!!

Great for IPhones – I have been with these guys a couple of years as they are cheap. I finally claimed when my iPhone got wet and they just got me to take it to Apple and do the $400 fix with them ( which ended up being a replacement) but then they paid me back most of it ( can't remember maybe like $350) and there I was with a brand new iPhone. It was instant at the store and easy.

The worst phone insurance company!!!!!! – The company is extremely unprofessional. Not entirely sure what it is im paying for considering i have two mobiles under my name and after claiming insurance twice over a period of a year i was told i was unable to claim insurance on either of my phones for the next 2 years and even after asking if there was a service fee i could pay to void this… Read more

they sent me an email with a list of other insurance i could work with. After calling a few i was told that because neither phone will be "brand new" and within 3 months of purchase this was not something i could access.

After sending my phone off i had to wait a month before a refurbished phone was able to be sent to me. i was only instructed of my phones process when i contacted them which was also not an easy task.

I dont know why Virgin Mobile being such a large company would work with such a poorly branded company. As you can see from the rest of the reviews this company has a pretty bad rapport and i have to agree.

Very poor service – The Customer service staff are never available. They request things that cannot be provided and dispute evidence. The excess is really high making it barely viable financially. My advice would be, do not bother with this product.

These people will not repair your phone – I had phone insure for two years. In the second year my phone dropped and the screen cracked so I made a claim. I had to send it to them in Adelaide for repairs. After three weeks I received it back with a replacement screen. However, it was not properly attached to the body of the phone; there were 0.5mm gaps along two sides of the screen. I… Read more

thought I could live with that because it is difficult to reattach screens. However, after using it for a couple of weeks I discovered that the ear recognition system was not working so whenever a call came in the screen would go dark and I could not answer or refuse the call. This was really annoying and clearly caused by the bad repair.

I sent the phone back for the repair to be repaired. A month went by before they got back to me. They refused to fix the repair because there was a tiny chip on the corner of the new screen, which had happened in the couple of weeks before I returned it. This chip was caused by the faulty repair and did not at all affect the operation of the phone. And I wasn't asking for the chip to be repaired or the screen replaced. It was extremely unreasonable for them to refuse to fix the problems they caused on such a lame excuse.

I had them send the phone back to me unrepaired (another week) and had it fixed at CPRepairs Lab in Melbourne City for $120 in two days. Now it receives calls and the screen is properly attached and the tiny chip on the corner caused no problems.

I recommend that you don't bother insuring with these people as they will make sure that you suffer. You will have to send your phone away and be without it for unreasonably long periods instead of taking it to a repair agent in your own city. Phone Insure will only try and contact you through your insured number even when they know they have your phone and you cannot receive any calls. They will persist in doing this even if you tell them you have no other phone to put the sim card in. If they cannot get through by phone they will not try and email you even if that is how you have been communicating with them.

In short they are an ugly company.

ongoing repair – Send phone off for repairs and comes back fixed minor Loudspeaker function working, contact them and was told to send off again. Payment of two excess payments. Receive it back and Loudspeaker function still not working. They cut off Insurance plan contract ( I thought if you pay an insurance it doesn't matter a number of times you claim ( being… Read more
