Very Happy – Great quality product. Staff are fantastic with the students. Customer service is amazing very happy with the product quality and selection of packages. Value for money is excellent and would highly recommend this company to any schools, wanting quality and value of money.

Quite bad – Photos are often low quality, grainy and have many artifacts. Their products are a lie, a High-Res digital download should not be in a compressed JPG format. The prices are exorbitant, $40 for a digital download. The website for online orders is inadequate and looks like a website made from the 2000's. You can't get a preview of the photographs as… Read more

well. Photo quality is poor, as each photo is rushed, and can be beaten with an entry-level DSLR given some time.

Bad quality photo – Last year we ordered the 'Premium package' and the photos were fine, however it was too much and we didn't need all the photos. This year we only the 'My Class Only package'. The photo quality is very poor. When I rang up and I was advised that it wasn't the premium package so the photo quality is different as they run a different print. In my… Read more

experience from other photo companies, there has not been any difference in the quality. If I had known that there would be such a difference and there was a disclaimer to say that this, I would not have bothered with the photos. I was offered a full refund but I would have to pay the full price for any orders since the 'discount period' has ended. I am not happy with this solution.

how does this busness run? – my family ordered photos with this company through my school. for two people, my sister and I. As this was my last year at school, i wanted to get something a bit more expensive so i chose the "My School Folder". along with my sister's order, the total was around $45. The photos came back in what looked like sub-printer quality paper. the class… Read more

photo was distorted, grainy and the photos on the cover, which had been taken by the school, looked much better. Wish i could give less than 1 star

Poor quality – The school obviously is not sensitive to reviews that are appalling. My son and daughters photos have been so poor quality over the years. I just hate this company. I could take better photos.

School Photos – Photoes are overpriced. Even when you dont order in time, it is a charge of $20 for postage, then call them straight back after ordering to stop them from going to the post office and then just to add to the charge especially when you order over the phone you get slumped with $15 for practically labour. I hope the school finds another company.

Overpriced – The $20 postage and handling fee for a basic $57 school photo set is ridiculous. The lady on the phone was pleasant but this is a complete rip off. Won't be purchasing from them.

Overprice – Poor quality photos, overprice, and fees for late order postage are ridiculous. The background paper could have better quality for the price you pay. Hopefully, schools can check for other good photographs with better photo packages.

No light – The other day I received my school photo but it wasn't a true representation of my skin colour. I was very dissapointed and offended of how my skin tone was shown. I go to ballajura community college. I really hope I can get a retake.

I feel cheated and extorted. Like dealing with the mafia or a crime syndicate – Firstly you have no options. They come into your school, photograph your child, without permission and then want to charge ridiculous fees to get a copy of the photo, which is poor quality. You feel like you have been robbed. When are school photographers going to catch up with the real world. can't wait for the new "über" of school photography to… Read more

arrive. Cheaper price and email your photo to you. Surely in this day and age even a school photographer would keep up with technology. But it appears they like the monopoly attitude to rip people off

Pretty average – Terrible quality i get better photos using my phone. I would not recommend any one to use this service, don't waste your time there are plenty of other great services to use.

Fantastic Photography & Prints – My sons school uses Photo Hendriks for all their individual, class and yearbook photos so we have dealt with them constantly for years. They're efficient, well-priced and their customer service is lovely! Photography quality is better than others I've seen. Organising photo shoots on such a large scale with school schedules can't be easy but these guys do it so professionally. Definitely recommended!

Poor value for money – We paid $25 for a sitting and a print - what a wonderful idea! My family loved the photos and we discussed editing and paid $300 for all the edited photos on a disc. 3 weeks later, we received the disc with no editing. Backgrounds were visible beyond the white screen, photos were not straightened & eyes were closed. None of the photos were of a… Read more

quality you could print or share with friends or family without editing yourself. What were we charged $300 for?

School Photos – The paper they use is like you buy at the local supermarket, quality is poor. My children can take better photos and a friend of ours had her photos redone, no better than before just crap. Will never order through the school system again if they use this mob.

Professional prices bad service – Waited for 6- weeks to receive our school photos after retake because they were not good the first time. Very bad service. They wouldn't wait for their money for this long would they. Very disappointed.

Bad quality photos – Bad quality school photo, grainy almost pixelated photo on bad quality paper and they forgot half my order as well. The kind of pic I could take and print myself for FREE!

Really not impressed with ordering service - insecure – Only accept credit cards online, but you are directed to an insecure form where you are asked to give your full name, password & address all over plain http. Shopping cart also has no SSL. Needless to say I didn't get to checkout. After reading the other 1 star reviews on here about the quality of the photos I almost didn't bother with the cash… Read more

either but decided to order just for my Yr 12 as it's her last year. Getting mightily sick of these school photo companies (different every year!) who think they're on a winner. Imagine if you could see before you bought, I wonder how many they'd sell then!

Insecure, expensive, awkward forms on & in envelope

Disapponting school photos – I received my kid's school photos from Photo Hendriks and I am so disappointed. The paper quality is awful and the photo is grainy. The colours seem washed out. I hate the format where you have to tear out the photos from a booklet. All I wanted was a class photo, and a big individual photo of my children. The cheapest package wasn't cheap… Read more

(and I had to times it by 3 as I have 3 children) - and I ended up with all this other 'stuff' that I don't need. My youngest son's photo is a nice photo of him which is a relief. When I looked a the other individual photos of his classmates many of them have very weird expressions or they aren't smiling. One mother has already told me how disappointed she was with her son's photo and the quality of the package. Professional photographers should be able to get a decent photo of a 7 yr old child.

Their website claims, "With our experienced team of photographers, we consistently deliver the highest quality class and portrait photography to Western Australian schools." So why can't they get a decent individual photo of the kids? I compared Photo Hendrik's photos from this year to their photos from last year and the difference in quality is astounding. Last year we had beautiful photos this year it looks like we have photos that were printed on a cheap printer. I will be encouraging my children's schools to look else where for a school photographer.

Terrible quality.

Quality of school photos so appalling , attempts at reprint result in same poor quality – Every year I have my kids school photos taken and it is a tradition I am sure enjoyed by most families. I send copies to relatives across the country. This year two of my kids had photos taken by Photo Hendriks based in Burswood Perth. The photos were so very disappointing. 1) they were printed on flimsy paper in a tear out book format 2) the… Read more

colours were drab and not natural 3) the lighting was bad with shadowing on faces and glare. So I rang and emailed the company. I arranged to have one set re printed and believed it would be on standard conventional photo quality paper. So weeks pass and I get the new ones back. They are exactly the same, printed on same paper, same poor quality. I rang again.

Told they never agreed to print on different paper, well I would not have bothered with this whole thing if that were told to me. Growl! So have booked a resit at their studio, so much time wasted and I am time poor. Lets see what happens. Told I can get digital image that I can print. Told this is the new way of doing things environmentally and the way all companies will be heading. Well I hope not!

Interestingly my youngest had her Kindy pics done by another company and they are fantastic as I expect every year. On beautiful quality "Kodak professional "paper. Insist your school does not use Photo Hendriks! They also cost significantly more than those of my youngest, paid about $55.

Terrible quality paper, colour , service, bad lighting etc
