Pigeon Liquid Cleanser

Love this! Multi purpose use! – This is one of my must haves in the kitchen at all times! I use it every day to soak my babies bottles in before sterilising. We formula feed so it’s really important to me to eliminate any risk of bacteria. I always purchase the 700ml pump bottle and it lasts me a good month or 2. But another great thing about this liquid cleanser is that it’s… Read more
also safe to use on fruit and vege!!! And since using this to sanitise all my fruit and vegetables I have noticed such a big difference in longevity and also colour (my fruit bowl is always so vibrant looking)
Overall I absolutely LOVE this product and will continue to recommend it to all my mum friends.
Cuts through oil – It's great for breaking up oil or milk residue, oil from plastics etc. I've used it for my first baby and I'm buying it again for the next one. It cleanses bottles like no other. I personally love the scent of this. Some reviewers have commented it's very runny. It is but it had no impact on the performance of this. Add a squirt of this to a tub… Read more
of water and wash out milk bottles and teats if you're afraid of wasting it. Baby bunting has a sale on right now so it's pretty cheap. Get it quick!!!
Perfect bottle cleanser – This bottle cleanser cleans out milk residue very well, the bottle is squeaky clean and doesn't leave any smell at all. It can clean bottles, teats, dummies, toys, teethers, fruits and veges. One pump is enough to clean 3-4 bottles including teats and caps. This cleanser works really well but doesn't dry out my hands even though I wash bottles 3 times a day.
Expensive but worthwhile product for breaking down fats and milk solids – Despite being hard to find and not particularly cheap, I'm lacking understanding of the 1 and 3 star reviews that admit things like the following: - Dishwasher liquid leaves fatty residue on the sides of milk bottles - Brush marks can be seen in the residue if cleaning without this product - Doesn't smell unpleasant - Ingestible without… Read more
negative effects
A small squirt into a milk bottle teat breaks up all the milk in there even if you're one of those exhausted parents who's let bottles pile up for a couple of days. It leaves things sparkling like they're baby things but in a Finish dishwasher advert, and only one person seems to hate the smell here - I find it quite pleasant. I've found it useful for cleaning drinking bottles that still have 'that smell' after washing them up repeatedly or even steriilising them, and it works for my oxygen mask, reservoir bag and tubing for cluster headache-related cleaning purposes.
Expensive, hard to use – First of all it's very expensive compare to normal dish washing liquid, it's quadruple the price of standard 500ml dish washing liquid! It is also very watery, it simply drip off the brush as soon as you pour it on. It is also not very strong so need to use heaps to clean the oil left over from breast milk. I do not recommend this, use normal dish washing liquid and just make sure to rinse thoroughly!
Love this product - it's safe and removes all breast milk residue from bottles and teats – I have been using this product since my son was born and I love it. It is safe and leaves all our bottles and teats squeaky clean. I don't mind the smell and I use it to wash everything from his teething toys to his cups and plates now that he is eating solids. Yes, it is expensive and some people prefer to use dishwashing liquid but I like that this product is safe for young babies and cleans so well.
Unnecessary – I bought this as it was on sale but wouldn't again. It cleanses well like any other dish soap, but I cannot stand the smell. It is awful! It claims to kill bacteria on milk bottles, but so does a steriliser. Isn't that the point of sterilising bottles anyway? If people want to use it to wash fruit and veggies: good old white vinegar can do that… Read more
same job. I think too many products are manipulating new parents to buy things that they don't necessary need. It's definitely not an essential item for a baby. Cleans well Smell. Not a must have item
Great product – I have a 7-week-old baby who is formula fed. I use a good quality dish detergent and bottle cleaning brush, but after giving the bottles a good scrub and putting them through the steriliser I have found they still seem greasy; you could even see the track lines from the brush's bristles. After using the Pigeon cleanser the first time I could see… Read more
the difference immediately - the greasy residue was gone and the bottles didnt require as much scrubbing. It's gentle on the skin and is also suitable for cleaning teats/nipples, dummies, teethers, even fruits and vegetables as the ingredients are all natural and edible. It does cost a little more than regular dish detergent but the results are worth it. Cleans bottles quickly and efficiently
Excellent – i think it is a wonderful product,as it was made of edible substance. i even use it to wash adult water bottles etc. too bad it is not found in most of the stores here in adelaide... it is safe.. difficulty to find the product
OK – It does the job, but why would you bother? I bought a Pigeon microwave steriliser and a bottle came free with it, but if I didn't have it I would just use normal detergent and make sure I rinsed baby's items well. It cleans as it's meant to Preys on the insecurity and anxiety of new mothers
OK – I was at a baby expo when I noticed this product. I was just using dish washing liquid before this and thought it was sufficient enough. I brought 3 bottles for $10 and once they are finished I'm not sure if I will use this product again. I can see that it cleans the bottles very well, but doesn't dish washing liquid clean them just as well once… Read more
rinsed well? I mean all the bugs and left over milk that didn't come off in the cleaning come off in the sterilizer, right? I'm not 100% on this product. Sanitizers bottles and vegetables. Like the previous review it preys on the insecurity and anxiety of new mothers
