Keys are(non standard) special order – The door is lightly constructed but good value. Keys are non standard so blanks not available. It looks like exclusive to Bunnings but can you believe Bunnings don't stock the keys! If you contact Pillar you can get a key delivered! Ask for Keys posted by normal mail.

Pillar screen door – Brought new Pillar screen door and rusted within 4 months. Looks disgusting like it came from a scrap yard. Company agreed to replace it as faulty paint work. Waited 4 weeks and they have sent a totally different size. Cardboard box is correct but contents is 10cm short all around. Totally useless door, better to buy a Aussie company door.

Good looking but rusted quickly – I like the look of the door. However the mesh started to rust within four months until it was downright shabby by 7 months looking as if it was many years old. The handle and lock are stiff and difficult to operate. I really liked the door but can’t recommend it as it shouldn’t have rusted so soon not when it’s supposed to be epoxy coated,

Great idea and easy to fit but needs some improvement – Great idea but after only a few uses by a cautious dog, the door is separating at the plastic joining studs. I might try fitting bolts and nuts. Might work.

Great Cheap Pet Door Option Easy To Install – I have been left with shredded fly screen doors for years (determined cat) and finally had enough and replace my flyscreens and decided when I went to Bunnings to also get a pet door. The Pillar flyscreen door Medium (cost $14.95) is great easy to install, however do not get thick flyscreen grade as the screws are not long enough to hold so will… Read more

require superglue to insure pet door is up to the riggers of animals going in and out, especially for dogs. Do not cut the hole in the fly screen until you are sure it is very secure or you will have a huge problem. Worth the money and effort just secure pet door better than what is instructed. Great product for price.
