Pioneer AVH-X3700DAB

Only lasted two years – The unit worked well for the first two years. My only gripe was that USB music loaded quite slowly and the unit took forever to upload my address book from my phone. Then, this winter (2018 in Australia), it AVH-X3700DAB would not start in the mornings. In fact, it would not wake-up until the temperature was greater than 17degC. Really annoying because I rely heavily on the Bluetooth phone function. Others have had the same problem.

This is not good enough for a high-end multimedia head unit that cost $800+ installed.

So now I have to rip it out, including all the wiring and have a Kenwood installed.

Fantastic head unit you'd like to use all the time!!! – This is head unit went well over my expectations. Everything works as it should and just love it! My iPhone works well with the AVH-X3700DAB. Although I am not impressed with steering wheel remote (CDS-R110 sold separately). But the head unit alone is fantastic and have no complaints. Ui is nice and simple to use and plenty of options. Would not hesitate recommending this head unit to anyone.

Good DAB Head Unit – Bought this unit to instal in a vz commodore to replace the standard 2DIN Blaupunkt unit. I installed it myself after purchasing a face plate, aerial adaptor. DAB antenna and steering wheel control harness. I'm very happy with the unit, it does not look too full on in an 11year old car. DAB reception and quality is great as is Bluetooth and I like being able to adjust the display and button colours to match the car. Lots of adjustment for audio settings, Pandora sounds a bit flat when you compare it with DAB quality. Some people have complained about the beep when you alter things, not an issue for me, at normal volume levels you can hardly hear it. Steering controls work well..all in all very happy with the unit.
