AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! My son recently signed up to do the Woolworths Cricket Blast Program through his school. After the program was cancelled, I had to chase up PlayHQ for the refund. My experience with them is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. I submitted my refund request and was told it had been approved, then to expect my payment within 15 days. After 15 days and no payment received, I followed up with them only to be told they gave me the incorrect form, I also received another message from another representative saying they were not responsible and I had to contact the association for the refund. After receiving multiple mixed and contradicting messages from approximately 12 different people within their team I also found out the finance team is located at a different site and they cannot contact them to see where my payment was sitting (obviously nowhere because it had not been processed). The saga just continued to a point I reported them to the ACCC. It has now been over a month and still no closer to receiving my refund and nobody has accepted any responsibility in how poorly this has been handled. They have now advised me it went through a payrun last week lol.....and surprise I still don't have the funds so I messaged again today and their latest excuse is they have a backlog to work through. I would HIGHLY discourage any sporting organisation from using PlayHQ services, they are dysfunctional and have one of the worst business models I have ever encountered. I would be embarrassed for them to represent my association and cause a lot of undue stress to their members. Oh and like another person mentioned they are not processing the full amount I paid which is fraudulent and I will be taking this further with Cricket Australia.
Uggh - PlayHQ is so frustrating A cricket feature is sometimes around stats - and the complexity to look at a clubs stats is quite messy. I sent a support request - and I got a reply that didnt help - have sent 2 emails to follow up for help - and nothing as yet Ironically their support platform is called Zendesk - I don't feel Zen at all
Awful experience using the PLAYHQ sports registration platform. I was able to register my daughter for a team and paid my money. Afterwards, I realised that she was not eligible to play on the team she wanted due to an age restriction that was not shared with me before I registered. I cancelled her registration within 12 hours. However, PLAYHQ retained > $100 for no products or services. Outrageous. And the Club she registered for took no accountability even though they have a contractual arrangement with PLAYHQ. Avoid.
