I pre-booked parking at World Square Car Park for $18 with nominated entry and exit times. I exited earlier than the nominated exit time and was charged an additional $22 at the exit gate. suggests overstaying, not leaving early. The booking screen referred to entering and exiting within a 30 minute grace period, but did not clearly explain that early exit could trigger a material additional fee, how that fee would be calculated, or that the total cost could more than double despite using less parking time than booked.
Point Parking later agreed to refund the $22 as a goodwill gesture, which I appreciate. However, I still think the pricing disclosure is poor and should be made much clearer before customers complete a booking. I have also lodged a complaint with NSW Fair Trading regarding the adequacy of the pricing disclosure.

rubbish but I refused to pay their extortionate fees so they reduced it to $50 a 24 hr day which is closer to the standard parking in the area, I’ve been told they have stung plenty of unsuspecting visitors to the hospital and something should be done about it.
I had a terrible experience with Edmondson Car Parking Association. I parked from around 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, under four hours, and was charged $50. extremely frustrated. For a basic parking service, this kind of charge is unacceptable and shows a lack of fairness toward customers.
I would not recommend this parking facility to anyone. Be very careful parking here unless you are prepared to be hit with inflated and unjustified fees.

longer. Used to go and validate ticket. It would shave even just $3 if I had not validated the ticket for 4.5 hours long. Pathetic and will not be back to shop at Indooroopilly or watch a movie there.
Beyond ridiculous, they charge you to leave early. Not just a nominal fee, more than what you paid for the full nights booking AGAIN. Customer service is not helpful. We paid until 11pm as we didn’t know when our show would end and when we tried to leave at 9:52 they gave us the option of paying the full fair again or waiting till 30 mins within leaving time. Don’t park here.
One of the worst run organisations in Sydney, Car was damaged in their car park due to a protruding steel ramp at Westmead hospital, numerous emails sent and no follow up whatsoever. 2 months later and still nothing. Left with no option but to proceed legal action. Absolutely pathetic.
Point parking is one of the worse and terrible parking. By booking online you need to exit within 30 mins, if you try to exit early you have to pay $22. That's the trap they set, which is absolutely pathetic and meaningless. I have never seen this with other parking venues. Plus customer service is ZERO. Double charged, customer service doesn't exist – I received no service at all. I was double charged at Macquarie Shopping Centre, then they ignored my emails for three weeks. Still waiting. The worst parking experience.
Try not to use their car parks they overcharge and don’t give you money back – They overcharged us by $12, but we had to pay it to get our car out of the car park. 6 emails later, we haven’t got our money back as they have said, the transaction doesn’t exist. We have sent the credit card statement, the first six digits of the credit card and the last four and anything else they’ve asked for however they are dodgy and don’t want to refund the money
terrible customer service system overcharges and wont refund – i have been tyring to contactvia caling and email for over a week and no replies, got early bird oarking $20 charged me $95 trying to get a refund is hard work. I have all the evidence to say i followed the rules and the onsite attendant agrees however no one ever calls back DO NOT use a point parking site go elsewhere.
If I could rate negative stars I would – I have never been spoken to so rudely in my life by someone in customer service. I asked for help and was yelled at and hung up on. Actually lost for words.

Ed Square disaster. Deliberate hold up on Saturdays – Watched Mission Impossible at Events Cinemas Edsquare NSW 11 AM till 2 PM (3 hrs free) . Prior to exiting the car park via MacDonald Rd there was a hold up at the exit before my turn. buzzer. There was no answer for a while (3-5 minutes) frustrating other drivers behind me. Attendant finally answered after I called the 1300 number via mobile and asked what gate l was stuck. He could've figured this using their cameras if any or systems. There were no gate details and just 2 exits from the shopping complex. Long story short some random driver got very impatient and rushed from behind to manually pull up the gate for me to exit. Thanks to the bloke!! However the staff are extremely slow and incompetent. Don't pay if you have a valid ticket / barcode with free parking on it

Boomgate damaged my car! – My car has been damaged by the boom gate at at eastpoint in Edgecliff NSW. It has scraped through to the metal. The reason is that the boom gate is missing the rubber protector over the metal. Although the parking point has no CCT of the accident they have decided that it is my fault. I am getting nowhere with [Name Removed] from operations. Can any one help? I’m so upset that they cannot just say sorry and fix it! Incredibly poor customer care!
Gouged after Midnight! – Been charging my car after midnight at this station for 18 months. Today they charged me $25, from 3am to 4:30am. Attendant would not let me out without paying.

Poor management in getting the flow of the traffic in the carpark – 5 June 2021 traffics in the Burwood plaza carpark has not moved a inch since 2pm. fees charged for parking. I contacted the Point Parking head office in Sydney and was rudely spoken too after wanting to speak to a manager to raise my complaint and the phone call was hung up. This company Point Parking obviously has the wrong ethics when conducting business and I will be reporting to the NSW health department.
