Triple butter explosion.....where?, I couldn't find any butter let alone triple butter or an explosion of butter....it's just plain popcorn without butter just ignore what it says on the package as it's false.

I brought the 5 pack of 50g microwave popcorn bags (these have recently changed to different smaller bags) I reached out to poppin via there website a couple weeks ago but are yet to get a reply. The bags split open within 1 minute of being in the microwave and the beans starting coming out of the bag and the popcorn was burning. All good! – Awesome treats for weekend with the kids they love this so much, easy to pop and very tasty.

no longer has any butter flavor at all – in the last few months they have been reducing the butter an salt to the point where there is some yellow colour but no butter or salt flavor at all and this is supposed to be triple butter, bring on a new brand! Show details

False advertising – The popcorn didn’t taste buttery or salty at all. It was bland and dry. I was really disappointed but I ate it anyway because I was hungry. If you are looking for popcorn with actual flavour don’t get this one. Show details

Rubbish - whatever they’ve done to the new packaging is terrible and dangerous – Bought a box of 4 today at woollies - stuck on A movie for the rainy afternoon and put a bag in the microwave like I usually would for 3.20m - first bag smoked and contents were burned and black - thought the microwave was on fire. There another bag in the microwave and this bag didn’t even pop. Oh well.

Go back to your old packaging and serving size.

Crap - won’t be buying again for fear of the kids burning the house down due to smoking popcorn packets when they fancy popcorn for a rainy afternoon movie sesh

Very disappointing – Popped perfectly for me and the amount was good but hardly any flavour or salt. I want nice buttery salty popcorn and this is not! The packet should not say triple butter explosion because it’s far from it. But if you like plain popcorn you will be happy. Show details

HUGE FLOP – I have had two boxes of this popcorn expiry 05 April,2019. Batch 1804000659 ALL bags have failed to produce even half a bag of popped corn. The rest just would not pop and the result is all bags were used one after another to produce enough popcorn for the family. VERY DISAPPOINTING....and even the poppin.com.au website is not working either. What’s going on Greens??

kernels wouldn't pop properly and only 1/2 popped leaving them uneatable. Not overly impressed. We also noticed that there really wasnt this triple butter explosion we were told about.

Though the popcorn in the bowl was popped perfectly and tasted fantastic we were still left disappointed with the lack of popcorn received.

Would I recommend this brand? I wouldn't purchase again but I would purchase the standard Buttered popcorn as it has always filled that popcorn bowl and butter wise - just as much butter flavour as the triple. Possibly with the triple butter it must effect the popping stage. Overall a tasty snack

Less corn in bag, ordinary taste, triple butter is false – No discernible taste difference between regular butter and triple butter. Why? A year ago, same product used to fill two 2-litre icecream containers, now it only fills one and a quarter. Flavour is ordinary, a bag of air popped corn has more taste. Every 5th to 8th bag, on average, burns. A poor product overall.

No poppin poppetty corn!!! – Was so looking forward to my popcorn hit. First bag i barely got 30 pieces of popcorn. Second bag was wasted. Just burnt to a cinder inside. Totally unforgivable! It took no less than 2mins for it to burn. And inwas standing beside the microwave the whole time!

3 outta 4 bags unusable – Not happy. Just went out to specifically buy popcorn. Came home and have put 3 bags of the box of 4 so far.. in the microwave with nothing.. either burnt and not popped.. or just not popping. Got one bag to semi pop ( mixed with burnt) and that was an effort.. this product is crap.

Hardly Triple Butter!! Rip Off!! – It's just normal butter flavour popcorn. Not triple butter like advertised! I want that butter explosion I was promised! If I want to go through the shame of buying the "fattening" type with "extra" butter, I atleast want to feel like it was worth it. More butter and less lies!!

Tiple Butter Flavour EXPLOSION! – So explosive, the flavour exploded right out of it! Before they put it in the bag! Seriously this was absolutely rubbish. It had less flavour than standard unflavoured and unsalted bags of popcorn and a terrible fake texture, like eating finely ground packing peanuts. A complete and utter disappointment.

It's good – You can get it in 'Butter' flavour or this here 'Triple Butter Flavour Explosion!'. It's fine. It's buttery. It's not exactly triple buttery and it's certainly not a flavour explosion! but it tastes nice in that fake buttery way and it makes your house smell like a cinema. whole bag should probably not be eaten by one person in a single sitting but if you're like me that's exactly what you're going to do and FYI, one bag is a pretty good amount. salty, buttery, satisfying amount three prawns are hardly a galaxy

OK – This is a fine popcorn to buy and have when you are watching a movie at home. Since its microwave, you have to stay in the same room and make sure to stop it when the popping stops. This one is just fine to have, although none of the microwave popcorn taste like the theatre ones. Its expensive, so I only buy it on sale. It doesnt really taste like the theatre popcorn, but none of the home made microwave ones do. All of these popcorn are really high in kilojoules, so I dont buy them regularly. Its probably better to just have the air popped ones.
