I bought 2 of these in 2019. First one died a few months ago, it was in a small caravan with a 300w solar panel. Now the second one looks like it has died too. Runs a 45l fridge in the back of my ute with a 200w solar panel connected. So I guess 6 years is their life. Bought from autoelecau (ebay) who are no longer in business.

Waste of Money thanks tools.com! – Batteries purchased from tools.com with the promise of a 3 year warranty, they lasted 11 months and only to find there is no customer service from Tools.com just a big runaround of test this, check that etc. As an Auto Elec and Mechanic I would recommend no one shops with this company!

Poor performance, unreliable – 14 months old totally died won’t hold a charge for more than 3 hours. No warranty honoured. Reconditioned no better. If you are after a battery for reliability this is not it. Wouldn’t buy these. A week after these failed I bumped into a fellow with a similar issue another Power AGM battery.

Budget priced battery with a budget lifespan – I bought this power agm Battery in August 2020. It has been connected to a Victron DC DC charger since new. It has been powering a 60 litre fridge and some small led lights and was never run below 12volts. The battery performed well for about two and a half years with zero problems. It had plenty of amps on tap and ran our fridge a few day's at a time without issue. Unfortunately just recently it's performance has dropped off a cliff and will only provide about 20amphrs of power before going flat or dropping below 12volts and the fridge turns it self off. It does this after receiving a full charge. I have contacted tools.com the supplier of the battery about this issue and unfortunately they have informed me that the battery is no longer covered under their warranty. This is because the warranty in 2020 was only 30 months. Since then the batteries now have an updated 3 year warranty. This power agm Battery definitely should of had a longer life than two and a half years. Especially considering it was only used a couple of times a year and well looked after kept on a float charge.

Started off promising – Purchased this battery to run as a SLI and run a 50L fridge for 2-3 days without having to go with a dual battery set-up. All was going well, battery running like a champ with fridge on while camping. Heading back to town did a bit of off-roading on a few tracks and decided to stop for a bite 30km from the nearest road. Get back in the 4wd and it refused to start, could hear a relay ticking over and over as your do when you have a bad battery. Since the battery was new I didn't think twice of it and thought it was a short caused from water getting in at the last river crossing. Somehow after 1.5hrs of checking over everything it started up. Got back into town and another check revealed the negative terminal post coming out of the battery was wobbly and had slight movement causing a connection issue. Battery had 12.9v but 0 CCA. No replacement able to be provided due to no stock so I was given an Optima D27F which has a significantly smaller capacity to run my fridge so I have sourced another Power AGM 135 from another supplier, fingers crossed the first one was faulty. Will re-review following receiving and using the replacement.
