Product OUT OF DATE - Shonkey Company STAY AWAY! – Ordered 4X 300ah Batteries. 210AH supplied. I complained to their returns dept. GUESS WHERE? SINGAPORE! They wrote back saying the stamp on each battery (the same on all) was the SERIAL NUMBER! I have been using many AGM batteries and know this stamp is the DATE OF MANUFACTURE. THEY LIED HOPING I WAS NAIVE. It showed the batteries were made in… Read more

2015! So, 6 years old... but selling AS NEW! Only 3 sent (attempted ripoff) - paid for 4. When I applied for refund, noticed no phone number available on website! Can only leave message and hope for reply. Refund offered, but only if I sent them back at my cost... (cost too high, $250 to freight - which I ended up having to pay). Reported to PayPal, confusing, inefficient and frustrating process. They only advised me to send back, and that their 'free returns' they proudly advertise was only covered for up to $47.00 max. Didn't bother trying to claim, so lost $250.00, 3 hrs travel and petrol cost. Batts were supplied from Minchinbury warehouse but I had to return to a different warehouse in Sydney CBD. The person I had to send return details to lives in GLADESVILLE and only gives initials, not full name... Looks shonkey because it IS. BEWARE, It's a SCAM. They are crooks. You will not win. BTW this review is honest and genuine. They muck you around and the only option is to return AT YOUR EXPENSE - no satisfaction, loss of freight money and time to go elsewhere for your purchase. What is the ACCC doing about this? Long time (see other complaints) no action!

Ipower Energy are Scammer Please dont use – I purchased a battery in Jan 2021. the battery was not the same as the one on the website I ordered. It was delivered in a unmarked cardboard box, it was upside down and leaked. I tried to use this and it did not have much capacity and couldn't run a small fridge for 4 hours. It was meant to be a 135 aH battery but it went to 50% charge after 4… Read more

hours so definitely was not a 135ah battery. The battery was physically lighter than a real 55ah battery I had so it was hardly surprising. Ipower energy would not assist with a replacement and ignored emails or responded with short meaningless cryptic replies. Very poor customer service. I tried to resolve through Paypal Buyer protection which is hopeless as the seller offered me a refund if I returned the battery to Sydney within 6 days at my expense. I cannot logistically do this from where I live and the cost to send back is more than the refund anyway. Ipower energy are dodgy scammers and you must not use as you will receive inferior incorrect fraudulent products and their customer service is appalling so you wont get any help. Paypal are also no use if you think they will assist.

I wish I had searched for a review! – Please, please, please do not use this site. I purchased a Dyson cordless battery. Did not work, so I sent it back. They said they would refund including cost of return postage, still waiting. Lot's of emails saying they had refunded into my account. So annoyed at myself for not searching for a review. They are based in China, so do not be fooled by the .au tag.

Non-aus Company, No Warranty, Stay Away _ Sham – Received battery, dead on arrival. No warranty process. Found out they are actually in China. They list an AUS website and a AUS warehouse. Not so. No helpful way to return the battery to China. Unable to assist in the return of faulty items. Stay Away - SCAM.

Lied about when product would be posted – I purchased 2 batteries from power-battery.com.au. Before purchasing I asked them when they would be posted. They assured me within 24hrs. Then 2 weeks later I received and email saying my payment had been processed and that my batteries would arrive in another 5-10 days. This would be too late, as I was about to leave on a trip and the… Read more

batteries would be no use to me if they didn't arrive before I left. I emailed them about the postage delay. They did not reply. I request a refund. They did not reply.

Instead I purchased another set of batteries from a different place and was able to pick up my batteries from their factory before I left.

DO NOT BUY FROM POWER-BATTERY.COM.AU!

Do not deal with this company and bad products and no customer service – Do not deal with this company they very bad experience for me. Ordered a battery with warranty 2 months. They do not contact or are willing to replace. I would stay away from this site and would be trying to get my money back.

Worst online shopping experience – Ordered a replacement battery for my Macbook air online. The seller notified the parcel delivery but with no tracking. Had to chase up with sellers who slowly responded with the tracking info. After a long waiting till the very last day of the suggested delivery period, I contacted AusPost and was told the parcel was returned because there was no… Read more

street address printed on the parcel. Since then I contacted sellers several times asking the item to be re-posted, but with no success. Luckily Paypal had issued a refund after receiving my dispute request.

Everyone made mistakes. This case could be easily solved by getting the item re-posted after it was returned. However this seller had chosen to ignore and refused to honour its obligations. What a waste of time! will not deal with this seller again.

Just terrible.. please save yourself from dealing with this company – Ordered a battery which cost around $55. Battery arrived and once connected to the laptop, it would refuse to take charge. Tried on several other laptops and same. Tried to contact the company for a refund. Emailed them twice as couldn't locate a number to call. Never received a reply back. Called Paypal to lodge a complaint. Paypal advised the… Read more

only way we could get a refund is if we send the battery back to China and receive a tracking number. Contact various courier company and no one would send the battery on its own. We decided to give up since too much time was being wasted over this matter. I wished i had read those reviews before buying. Don't make the same mistake I did and save yourself.

100% battery or complete brick – The company should not be dealt with. They provide faulty products; the battery failed to charge after a week and on a battery analysis was identified to be working at a very limited capacity. Power-battery provide poor customer service; I am still trying to get a replacement or money back since March 2016, 7 months on. They don't provide any… Read more

acknowledgement of their product being sent back, until you email again. They then request you to pay to send back a replacement product. This is after already paying to have the faulty product returned back to them. The company has failed to respond and pay money owed through Paypal. The company has tried to use extortion tactics, by stating that they would only pay part of the money owed if I removed this review. Your money would be better spent elsewhere and on more trusted sites.

Contrary to their claim, they do not appear to be an Australian based company at all. No Warranty – Recently I purchase a battery from this company. I chose them based on the fact that they claimed to be Australian based, which was consistent with the postage time. If believable, they also have a comprehensive guarantee of 1 year plus 30 day satisfaction guarantee, and also claim to sell OEM products. In brief I found that the item sent… Read more

appeared externally to be OEM but did not have the actual capacity or run time of an original battery. After 118 cycles it has 78% of its rated capacity. I can't see it making it to the recommended 1000 cycles at this rate. I emailed the company as they have no phone number. I have not received a reply so I started looking into it and this is what I found.

They do not appear to be an Australian company at all. They use an address in NSW of 7/100 Belmore Rd in North Riverwood. This address appears to be an Australian distribution company which warehouses stock for overseas and drop ship companies. They are a distributor for at least 2 Chinese based battery sellers such as Batteries Mall. This in itself is not a big issue. The thing that I am not happy with is the lack of response from the company and its lack of bricks and mortar in Australia. If they don't respond to email and they have no real contact information there is no way to enforce a warranty against them using the ACCC. In addition they are not in fact the cheapest. You would have just as much protection buying from a China based seller on Ebay with a good rating who actually cares about their feedback.

Power-Battery.com.au - Be Aware – The company uses a disclaimer advising they make replacements that fit the genuine tools ect. Be aware of their products as they mislead by using genuine brand names on their website, their products are not covered by the real brand product warranty's and not always suitable for the tools etc. .

Do not use this company – This company is a sham. They advertise they are an Australian company but they are based out of China. When the battery I ordered finally arrived it was not the one I ordered and in no way possible could it fit my laptop. Despite numerous emails attempting to contact them, I am yet to receive a reply. Do not use this company.

Stay away from them – Buy from these guys at your own risk they sent me a battery that was worse than the old one and then they hid behind Paypal (who were not so helpful) refusing to refund and requesting the item to be sent back to China. The battery unfortunately is glued to the laptop (design limitation) and I cannot pull it out or I will be left without laptop.

Power-Battery.com.au is a SCAM – I did receive a jump starter but not the one I ordered. I cannot charge as the cable won't fit the jump starter, none of the mobile chargers fit and instead of 8 x adapters for the computer charger I got 2 cables which won't fit the computer. I had one reply to my email, requesting photo's which I've sent 7 times with no reply also tried to contact them via their website but it wouldn't submit. They definitely need to be shut down.

power-battery.com.au has to be a scam – It follows the pattern of "Chinese Electronics online scams". Pretends to be in Australia, but isn't. Impossible to get in contact with them when item doesn't arrive - both email addresses bounce. They don't give you a tracking number when they say on the site that they will. Can't say anything about their product because it didn't arrive. Now I… Read more

have to see if paypal will refund me out of this mess. There needs to be a crackdown on this kind of scam. Dammit!
