responsibility for the consequences of their own actions, I would quite likely be posting a five star review, not a one star. My first clue to their lack of attention to detail should have been when I sent a link with the price shown clearly in Australian dollars and received back a quote for the exact same number of US dollars. I do believe this was a genuine mistake, but clearly, attention to detail was not a strong point.
What I was sent was a sandal from the same company, but a different model. Of course I contacted Price USA immediately. Their reply was that the store must have sent them the wrong thing, but, get this, I "did not pay for a detailed inspection" so I must pay to send it back to them. So apparently, I should have paid an extra US$10 just to make sure they sent me the correct item!
How about accepting responsibility for checking that what you are sending the customer is, in fact, the item they've ordered?
I've been in touch with Department of Fair Trading and they say that I should return the goods but have postage costs refunded to me. Seeing as this company so far refuses to accept responsibility for its own mistakes, I fear that will not happen, and that once they replace my incorrect item with the correct item they will not send it unless I pay even more money to them. I may be in the right according to the LAW, but can you imagine what pain and hassle I would have to go to, to actually get my money back?
In summary, PriceUSA place an order, receive something from the store, don’t check that it’s correct before forwarding to the customer, then make the customer pay for both the return of the incorrect item and the cost of re-shipping the item they should have sent you in the first place!
I also remain curious as to what prompts somebody to post a glowing review after they've used this service several times, as opposed to after the first or second. Particularly those people who have not posted a review before or after.
Please think carefully if this product is right for you.

I can't praise Price USA enough! – I have used Price USA several times now to avoid purchasing US made items from local suppliers with ridiculous markup. In some instances the USA manufacturer will not sell direct overseas or have an arrangement with a local distributor. In these cases Price USA has been very helpful to me. ahead with the order through Price USA and am very pleased with the outcome. They provide regular updates and heaps of information about the process.
As the item was valued at more than $1,000, I had to pay GST on the item + international shipping, as well as $83 import duty once it arrived in Australia and before it would be delivered (to UPS not Price USA). So this needs to be factored in to the cost of expensive items.
I am very pleased with Price USA's service.

week of making calls (mind you I ended up having to call the USA), I finally located my package. Thinking the nightmare was over, when I opened the parcel there were items missing. Again, I contacted the company and their response was - our USA partner said it was all there when they shipped it. While I! believe' that it's missing, because it's not a big price discrepancy I'm not going to do anything. Essentially, they told me to deal with it.
I was a bit astounded with this response as just because an item may not be worth hundreds of dollars, doesn't mean it doesn't have sentimental value.
I wouldn't use this service again and would recommend people use other couriers.

box without checking what was in there first, the item was damaged. Being a collectible item it has now been rendered nigh-on worthless.
Upon providing detailed photo evidence of how the items were packed and the extent of the damage I was told that this was only covered if I bought damage insurance. The Price USA website lists damage insurance as being for damage that occurs during transit and this damage clearly occurred during the packing process at the hands of their USA partner. No matter the emails and photos I have sent, the male customer service representative I have been speaking to denies it was damaged on the basis of "(partner) would not have damage it when packing it" rather than taking into account the facts or evidence.
Beware using this service as if they make a mistake it seems it will all fall on you, the customer.

provide the basic skills of customer service - communication. People like to keep informed, updated of their items and what's going on. People like to be reassured that they're not dealing with dodgy people, especially if they've made payment online via bank transfer/cc. Lesson learnt - People please listen, if you're going to purchase anything from now on, please pay via PAYPAL so you can make a DISPUTE.
I've been emailing this Stephanie person back and forth, she managed to get me the backpack I wanted from ebay. I checked the ebay link and the item was still listed there, so hold on.. What's happening? I linked her the website (several times) to confirm if that's the item she had purchased and she probably didn't even click on it and said yes to shut me up. I checked again and it's not even sold.. So I contacted the seller to ask them if the item has been sold and they said no. I asked Stephanie about it and she she got aggressive, said I had no right to contact the ebay seller... and even told me to stop emailing her or else I will be charged LOL what an idiot.
Just thinking about dealing with these people just stresses me out. I don't believe they are 100% honest people, prices and exchange rates aren't accurate (so please check on xe.com before you pay anything) and they won't offer you cheaper options. Just save your time and money and ask a relative or friend overseas or find other agents who will clarify the fees for you because it honestly shouldn't be this complicated. You look up the item, find out the shipping prices and agent fees - that should be all, shouldn't be costing you triple the price. Please don't buy through this company unless your item is cheap I guess, but I wouldn't take my chances.
My backpack wasn't meant to cost more than AU 500 inclu shipping (it is listed as US$235 on the actual website which is roughly AU$318.00 and the bag is weighed at 4lbs) but they charged me AU700+. It wasn't what I expected at all and I'm really annoyed.
They were going to cancel my order because I mentioned something about exchange rate and feeling ripped off, but out of good will, I will just pay the rest of the amount quoted because apparently they went through so much effort to get the backpack lol. Just want to get this ordeal over and done with.

lol I'm just getting more furious by the day.
I just can't believe how bloody misleading this is for a bloody backpack. I asked for the original invoice so many times now, Daniel has advised it's in the box. WTH. I advised for it to be sent to my email. This is so dodgy. Even Carolina says she will email it to me when she gets it and obviously she hasn't because the invoice has been in the box. - They even said you want it for warranty purposes, why do you need to see it? - Err why not???
Lol Now I get the Price USA invoice...
Backpack - US$262.50 - But I was quoted US$375 and I was even told that the agent Stephanie didn't purchase the backpack from ebay even though she entertained the idea to me that she did. I am so annoyed at how much they have lied to me. Apparently, she got it somewhere cheaper... This is all new information to me. Why was I not told this before? Daniel quoted 'the way the USA partners system work is a little complex'. Really? You get a quote and fee and you rip people off is that what's complex? And now I find out someone else went to buy the bag and gave it to the agent???... I can't stress enough how dodgy this is.. So they can charge me extra fees.
Shipping 92.74 - I was quoted $120.00..... I don't even know..
Ok, this one is odd... Handling fees 150.32 - wtf is there to handle? It's a backpack? It's about 4 lbs. It got sent to the agent's address? This part was not thoroughly explained to me. I was not told this at all when they quoted me the second payment. This whole transaction just feels like a scam to me. I was just trying to buy something as a gift for my partner and it turns out to be an ordeal. I really hate how this business operates and I am never ever using or recommending anyone to this site. I will actually go out of my way to prevent someone from using it if they ask me about it.
Daniel advised me to 'stop focusing on the breakdown of various sections on the invoices and focus on the total. That is all that matters'. ..... Um ok. I do care where my money goes.
This is costing way more than I expected and it just doesn't make any sense.

Shoes that were not available in Australia – Fortunately I was advised to use this site by my son who lives in the USA. Caroline answered all my questions and provided comprehensive information to follow about the time it would take to receive my goods. If you want your item quicker then there is always the faster shipping options! Would definitely recommend. along with many US suppliers, don't allow Australians to buy direct (they still don't believe there is anyplace other than the US in the universe, I think) and this way works. Even with the exchange rate around 70c, buying 2 items and paying freight saves me $60. I understand why the tracking isn't available and have never had to wait longer than 10 days from despatch in US (unless Australia Post stuffs up as it often does). Faultless!

removed from my item- there is literally no proof that the item that I have purchased is in fact the one that I ordered. You are not provided with a receipt aside from your order from Price USA. This is not proof of authenticity in any way.
2. WARRANTY WILL BE VOID- because of this you are unable to claim any warranty on any item that you have purchased because you have no proof that you purchased it.
3. There is no parcel tracking provided through this service. Although this is less of an issue
I did not find this service to be what it presented online. I would recommend anyone who wishes to ship something from the US to go with a different carrier which provides an original receipt at a minimum.

Fantastic service and would order again – I bought a pair of Nike id shoes and found the whole price usa experience experience great. They made it easy to order and answered every question I had. PUSA Pty Ltd. At the second meeting the trustee claimed not to have any knowledge of my complaint. So a third meeting was arranged at tax payers expense. Prior to the third meeting Price USA came good with a refund.
It would of been good if a refund was offered straight away.
I would suggest others try Shipittome.com or Forwardittome.com as they are honest.
Price USA is amazing! – This is a really great service! I have used them to buy clothing from stores that are prohibitively expensive in Oz; and its saved me a lot of time and money. The communication is really good between you and their respective buyers, and there are no delays. I really appreciate their service and will go back again!
Wouldn't use again – Don't bother paying for faster delivery as they take the money and send it slowly anyway. I wouldn't use again as I have since found other more reliable companies out there.

successfully forwarding over a dozen parcels since June with no issues whatsoever.
I suggest anyone else considering using PriceUSA keep in mind the issues mentioned in other less favourable reviews they come across, and would definitely avoid using for any time sensitive deals. Check sites such as Amazon who state the dimensions and weight of an item. Compare that to what PriceUSA quotes, and query the difference, as there almost certainly WILL be one. And check the weight of the package once it arrives!
This service is probably good for those who have minimal knowledge of internet purchasing or regard for being overcharged. Communication is also quite poor from my two experiences, unless you ask for a refund, and then you will get (rude) replies to your emails.
You only need to see the aggressive manner in which the owner and her husband reply to any critiques here or elsewhere to get an idea of the way customers are treated - some of the most rude and unhelpful business representatives I have ever come across, which is a shame as it means I have taken my business overseas.
Note - I will not be responding to any comments under my review by the business representatives, as from experience they are very selective in their version of 'the truth' and must always have the last say. All of the facts have been stated here, and I have nothing further to add. I am just posting this in the hopes that it helps someone else avoid the same situation. It is also interesting to note that many of the glowing reviews are from members with no other review history.

They rip you off! – Do not use price usa at any cost! Unfriendly, unhelpful and blatantly rude. I ordered off sephora during their vib 20% off sale. They didn't even tell me which items were missing, just simply that they were missing. I was informed by email that this could take up to 2 weeks for the missing items to arrive, after which, the us based rep would contact sephora and chase up the issue. I was also informed that i could either have the items that had already arrived shipped first and then get the missing items shipped when it arrived, or just wait and get everything shipped at once. I opted for the latter, but asked for periodical updates on the situation, however i did not receive any. After a 2 week wait, i received a confirmation email stating that my items were on their way to me. At this point, as one would, i assumed that all items in my order had arrived and were on their way. This was not the case. Once i opened the package, i found a clumsily written note that was rife with spelling errors pretty much stating that sephora's inventory was incorrect and the item was not in stock therefore they didn't include it in total cost. This would be fair enough if the cost of shipping overall would have gone down slightly, however it did the opposite. Surely one less item equates to less weight and volume which would translate into lower shipping costs. To make matters worse, i only received 1 sample out of the 3 that i was supposed to get. The whole ordeal wouldn't have been such a disappointment if price usa had the courtesy of letting me know this in an email prior to shipping the package to me. I emailed [name removed] to make him aware of the situation and he replied in a passive aggressive manner basically telling me to shove it. No apology, no empathy. Just arrogance and disrespect.
