Shockingly bad now. It is pumped full of water so much that it will jump out the frying pan, will not cook evenly and tastes disgusting. There is a fish smell when cooking. Everything is so shrinkflated now that we are at the end of what can be done to rip us off quietly. The world needs to riot tear it all down and start again.
Bad bacon – Poor quality and thin cut bacon with lots of fat and little flavour. I do not recommend this bacon.
Not worth buying – This bacon was mainly fat and has obviously been compressed as you can see from where the rind is. I would give no stars but can't. Show details
Poorly cut shortcut bacon – Bought a pack of shortcut and it was impossible to separate this is meant to be a premium bacon seems like low grade these day half mm thick and burns cause it’s to thin to cook think I will be buy some other bacon from coles Show details
Misleading quality of product – Unfortunately of the 750g of Primo Middle bacon 350g was inedible fat. This was not obvious in the packaging as it had all been folded to the middle. A practice that I thought was no longer use. After paying more than $16 from Woolworths 4014 I certainly will no purchase this or any other Primo products. Show details
Poor quality - watery bacon - Rip off! – This product is very poor quality. It is almost impossible to seperate each slice ... they stick together and the flesh rips if you try to peel off each slice. I have included a photograph to show what the end cooking result looks like ... terrible ! The product is not Australian and I will never buy it again. This bacon was purchased from Woolworths Supermarket. Show details
21% Aussie content – Yep , primo gets their pork from anywhere but Australia. It does use our plastic and sulphides though.
Hide the fat – Top layer .. what you would expect from shortcut bacon. One layer down as much as2.5 cm thick of fat on each piece. Purposeful, deliberate, tricky. There are other brands .. no more primo Show details
Not Worth the Bacon! – I bought 2 packets of 250gm Primo Middle Rindless Bacon in mid-August, 2021 and have only opened one of the packets today. I am not much of a bacon lover, but, I thought that being a miserable rainy day today, I will make myself a Bacon and Egg Roll. I was so surprised that half of the packet, was 127gm of fat. Rindless, yes, Fat 50%. Doesn't… Read more
Primo Australia check the quality of the baco before they are actually packed? Tried to contact them, but could not find the Customer Complaint. Not only that, but to add salt to the wound, I forgot to bring my reading glasses with me. Only to find out that although the Primo bacon that I bought was made in Australia, it was Made with at least 18% australian ingredients. Also, made with pork sourced from europe. Why primo? Don't we have enough pigs in australia? You have lost me as a customer.
