Priority Pass

I’m not sure if they have deliberately set out to be a scam or if it’s just towering incompetence when it comes to customer service and actually delivering on their supposed value proposition- I guess in the end it amounts to to the same thing - take your money deliver nothing that is promised - make every approach to a lounge an exercise in… Read more
stress and embarrassment- and then make it impossible to contact /seek redress through straight out ignoring you or endless corporate double speak obfuscation. The difference between paying to be ripped off vs rocking up to pay to enter lounges without priority and hoping for the best given that they essentially amount to the same thing as you’ll often you’ll be refused entry anyway makes the decision not to waste your money on this worthless service a no brainer.
Don’t use this service – Full of fine prints. No local number to call. No transparency over charges, nor notice something was charged - they simply charge your card out of nowhere and you have to comb through pages and pages of text to fully understand why. Staff at lounges have absolutely no idea and give you the wrong information, because they are third parties and both… Read more
priority pass and them have zero accountability over the misinformation.
Do yourself a favor: just steer clear of these guys.
Very dissatisfied – Will never use again. There are no lounges at Sydney international airport but only nominated bars and cafes. When arriving I asked the staff if I could use both of my passes to which they said yes and I have $72 AUD to use. Which I did. A week later I was charged $36 USD or $48 AUD to my credit cards. As it turns out priority pass has said… Read more
that I could not use the 2 passes but only one. So instead of giving me the option they charged me for an additional pass which is 25% more expensive than what I actually spent. It’s theft when you take money from my credit card without my approval.
I think that the bars priority pass use need some way of giving their patrons the correct information about charges. Also I think it’s unfair and illegal to charge my credit card with out my knowledge.
Stay with qantas lounges if you want a good experience, better service and transparency around cost. I don’t thinks that too much to ask.
UTTERLY DREADFUL – I used the lounge in Langkawi and was very disappointed (no food, no bottled water, no snacks). Emailed to complain. Expected a simple and let’s face it base level of customer service of them just apologising and offering me a complimentary pass to another lounge in future. Instead a sequence of emails with them then asking me to call a HK… Read more
number - I'm guessing to try and put me off pursuing it.
I arrived at Sydney airport to fly to Perth and had 2 hours to kill so I called the number. The first person put me on hold for over 10 minutes! I hung up after a total of 15 minutes and calle dback. Spoke to someone with zero interest or authority - a total incompetent. They kept me on the phone for over an hour - over 20 minutes of which was on hold waiting for a supervisor. Absolute waste of time - clearly a company which put people off from reaching anyone of authority. The best they would offer is to resend an email about my case. Im total shocked and disappointed. Cost me over $60 in phone costs - but in principle I couldn't give up. The level of customer service and even interest to make good this situation is just flabbergasting.
I urge people to not use this company - they do not give a toss about their customers.
Vote with your feet and take your custom elsewhere.
