However, some four months later and four follow up emails to Quandoo I have not seen one cent. As recently as May I was informed by Quandoo my claim had been escalated, and I should receive the loyalty payment imminently. As compensation I was invited to make a further restaurant booking through Quandoo and I would receive additional bonus loyalty points. Clearly this is something I will not be doing. As the saying goes’ insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
Made a booking for 9 people at Silver Brewing Co well ahead of the time like the booking was made in the morning, and time booked was in the evening. To our surprise when we arrived at the time Silver Brewing staff was not even aware of the booking. They accommodated us, but still. Will avoid Quandoo as long as it is possible.

home. However, my experience has taken a sharp and disappointing turn.
Recently, my account was suddenly blocked without notice, citing suspicious booking activity and questioning the authenticity of my bookings. Quandoo demanded credit card transactions or receipts to validate my dining visits. I promptly responded, providing clear evidence of my visits to Dum & Rum including receipts, card transactions, and reward notifications from their in-house loyalty program.
As for Dosa Hut, I explained that they do not offer a rewards program and encourage cash payments via discounts, a common practice, especially in today’s cost of living crisis. As a practical and budget-conscious customer, I naturally chose to pay in cash. However, since I didn’t foresee needing proof for such transactions, I didn’t keep receipts. Quandoo acknowledged my explanation and eventually restored my account, but what followed next was even more frustrating.
All my accumulated points were wiped, and no cashback was facilitated. Despite repeated follow-ups, I’ve received no response or resolution from the support team. It’s incredibly disappointing that, instead of investigating with their own partner restaurants for validation, they chose to penalize a loyal customer arbitrarily.
The complete lack of transparency in policy, unresponsiveness to emails, and dismissive attitude toward genuine explanations has left me feeling frustrated and disillusioned. I will no longer be using Quandoo. The only motivation to use this platform was the modest cashback program and if that is handled so poorly and inconsistently, there’s no point continuing.
With limited participating restaurants, poor customer service, and unclear policies, I would strongly advise others to reconsider using Quandoo. A platform that cannot handle its loyalty program fairly or communicate effectively with its users is simply not worth your time.

Amazing phone service & such friendly staff – I needed a few changes on my account. Milton was amazing. We booked a restaurant using Quandoo. They marked us as “no shows” so we didn’t get the points. I proved to Quandoo, using my bank statements, that we had attended. I have sent two emails on 14/2 and 20/2 asking for my points to be credited and have yet to receive a response. Very poor customer service!

Excellent Business Product and Service – Quandoo Business application is very simple to use from the front end for staff to use. The back end GUI is smooth and quite powerful if you want to delve further into configuration. The Quandoo support team are all amazing. During COVID as a Multi-business owner in Melbourne times have been challenging and the staff have always bent over backwards with the constant changes and updates often working well into the night to resolve issues. Don't use this service it is close to impossible to cancel a booking – Search for yourself once you make a booking on the web it is impossible to cancel it. Check the website yourself there is no 'cancel' booking option. Then signed up as a member in hopes it would match the email address and allow me to cancel but no such luck. These things are supposed to make life easier not harder now I am on the phone to the restaurant which is what I should have done in the first place.

Not happy is an absolute understatement – Thanks to Quandoo and Gold Moon restaurant in Brighton, our Christmas Day celebration was totally ruined. Thanks Seriously, how can a booking system and a restaurant mess this up so badly on such an important day of the year with NO other options available unless pre-arranged?
