My book was published with the wrong copyright date and variable font sizes. Project managers changed and for 6 weeks communication was impossible. I would not recommend the current crew to anyone. For clarity: I designed my own book cover which QBP is displaying under " Our Portfolio" implying it is their work. It is not. A click on " our portfolio" took me nowhere! I was convinced an audiobook was the way to go and was given a time frame of around a month. I paid fully last October and had nothing but changed project managers and questionable emails. Now I am asking for a part refund and realizing what cowboys they are. Just vanity press and incoherence. I paid for their Bestseller package which demonstrates my naivete. Questions from me were never answered and when I was asked to set a time for a phone call, not once was it accepted. Sometimes I felt they were in an overseas place using AI tools to communicate. I do not recommend this company.
Follow-up · I have had to contact the Department of Fair Trading to try ang get my money back. I paid for an audiobook but have nothing.. As I stated before my printed book was printed with the wrong copyright and variable fonts which I discovered. I suspect there is no quality control. They offer an author page which is simply a free Amazon one and the author is unable to acccess it. Really, it is just a link to Amazon. I have lost confidence in this type of hybrid publishing.
Follow-up · They have not returned my money and I have no audio book. I have not received any email from them.
Queensland Book Publishers not only offered fantastic marketing services to my book but also did so throughout the process. They conducted a good promotional strategy the visibility increased the level of of engagement of the readers and enabled my book to reach the correct audience. They were well communicative prompt and most professional. A good option to any writer that wants to have presence in the market.
