If I could give a zero score I would. I've been buying Quilton since they started. When the roll on the inside use to state "quilton loves your bum", but....the last few packs of 24 have changed. It's super thin, no longer soft and smells like glue. Very disappointed. After this 24 pack I won't be purchasing anymore of Quilton toilet rolls. Show details
I dislike Quilton and will no longer use it. Back in the day it used to be high quality, luxury. But since turning biodegradable it’s terrible and is now cheap and nasty. Very disappointing.
Quilton Toilet paper has defiantly got thinner and not as strong as the older paper i know because i have a roll of the old paper in my Possession and it is so so so much different to the new one as their saying goes my bum now hates Quilton Show details

I have purchased Quilton Double length 3 ply by 8 rolls for a very long time, at woolworths, but I’ve notice that it is now only lasting one week instead of two and my husband and I both agree we are using twice as much. I pulled their 3 ply apart and each ply is now so thin you could not possible call it 1 ply of paper. It still is costing the… Read more
poor consumer the same amount of money for a lesser product. I’m sick and tired of being ripped off by Woolworths and manufactures. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Very very disappointed in our Australian company.
Not just me unhappy with the quality, then. I went to our local discount shop last week, (in this case aptly named “The Reject Shop”) to find it literally half filled with Quilton toilet rolls, mostly 12 packs. So I bought one. I don’t consider it was THAT cheap at 8 bucks, but it was there and so was I. I then went to my mothers house to help… Read more
out, and while cleaning out her hallway cupboard, I found another Quilton 12 pack down low pushed to the back. Mum can’t get down there any more, so she would’ve missed it, probably for 4 years or more. Anyway, she was well stocked already, so she said take it. The packaging is almost identical, but the quality, it’s like chalk and cheese. The old pack - so soft, no need to triple it up to stop brown finger, it doesn’t feel like you’re wiping with newspaper. Now, I grew up in a household that used single thickness Delsey 1000 paper, so maybe I’d been short changed in the softness department for a long time, but the “new” Quilton rolls are just terrible. They’re nowhere near as soft, and you lose 6 layers because of the glue when starting a roll. AND it’s always a worry when there’s a large amount of them at a discount store - it usually means the supplier is either discontinuing an item, OR shedding excess or dodgy stock. We’ll go with dodgy….. *Update* (or very close to…) 2026 still no better, could Quilton PLEASE promote the person in charge of glueing the rolls to upper management, where they can do less harm to the company’s already poor reputation?

Issue with Australian packaging 24 rolls toilet paper, left with itch. Then noticed purple color on the roll, tinny piece of the prints/plastic that's from the inside of the bag, going straight on the toilet paper, then straight onto our genitals. See pic. Quilton needs to fix this urgently, health issue Show details

Quilton 540 rolls give less waste – Quilton 540 rolls saves waste..So, toilet rolls used to be 500 sheets, so now "triple" size is 40 sheets more. I can't understand the roll downsizing. We don't use them 1/3 less. Surely the smaller rolls are not environmentally friendly as you need… Read more
3 times the cores to make the same as one of these rolls. Why pay for 36 cores when you can use 6 for as many sheets??. Now, from quality, initially I thought not as good, but the second lot opened are just as good. My tick is for less waste and space to store them.

to report the issue and seek assistance, however they were unwilling to do anything about it, which is extremely disappointing given how long I’ve been a loyal customer.
For a brand that markets itself as high quality, this experience has been frustrating and unacceptable. I will be reconsidering my choice of brand going forward unless this issue is addressed properly.

I recently tried this "quilton" toilet paper, the kind with that fancy embossed pattern that's supposed to feel premium and quilted for extra softness. Big mistake. From the very first wipe, it was an absolute disaster. Instead of cleaning things up, it smeared my trash everywhere—like it was actively spreading and grinding it in rather than… Read more
lifting it away. The quilted texture turned into a slick, ineffective mess that just pushed everything around my cheeks and beyond.
And then it got weird. The paper was so soft and pliable that it tore and went inside my rectum really easily. One moment I'm wiping normally, the next half the sheet has slipped right in there. I expected horror, maybe a panicked trip to the ER... but nope. It was extremely pleasurable. Like, unexpectedly intense and satisfying in a way I can't quite explain. A full-on surprise prostate-adjacent tingle that made me pause mid-wipe.
Would I buy it again? Probably not for actual hygiene reasons, but if you're into that rare combo of chaotic mess and accidental internal delight... 3/5 stars. Just keep some gloves and a bidet on standby.

Must be a change in recipe - now causes rash – Perhaps, in their rush to get out toilet paper during the COVID-19 pandemic, someone in the (apparently, Brisbane) factory forgot some key ingredients. (EDIT: After reading similar reviews that go back years on here, perhaps it was nothing to do with the COVID rush). After years of using this brand, suddenly it started causing a rash everywhere… Read more
to the point our family had to discontinue use of this brand. I contacted the Quilton company to report this new side effect, only to be told they had not heard of this happening before. I suggested, to the nice lady who I spoke with, that she should look on here (productreview) to see it has apparently been happening to others.
For anyone reading this for the same reasons, please look up the Quilton customer service line and report these new side effects. They cannot fix it if they do not know.
I'm still going to give them two stars (maybe three) because we were grateful they managed to stock the empty TP shelves more than any other company this year. However, the fact it caused painful medical issues, resulting in us having to completely change brands (and therefore waste the money we had already spent on tp in our cupboard), means I cannot give five stars. (Oh, also the nice lady said she would send a voucher to replace the $$ we were now out of pocket, however, that never showed up).

Best buy to 'wipe away' the COVID-19 blues - NO SHEET! – There's no 'butt's about it. At the end of a hard day's toiling in the supermarkets, it is so comforting to read on the back of ones spoils, (for the FIRST TIME due to COVID-19 boredom), that Quilton "LOVES YOUR BUM", (see photos below). And good golly miss Molly, its even more comforting to SIT ON ones 'beloved bum' after the day's battle… Read more
getting the stuff!
(Toilet paper on the shelves is as rare as rocking horse sheet these days).
One is so tickled by Quilton's 'loving' gesture. Unfortunately, ones 'beloved' bum is not up for grabs due to social distancing laws, so Quilton, there'll be no 'roll me over in the clover' rover till this KOVID-19s well and truly over! - - it can never happen, sorry. (Sob sob). To compensate, one HAS posted a photo of a substitute 'butt' for Quilton's 'loving' enjoyment below.
Lately toilet paper availability has (or has not) touched a very sensitive spot with consumers! One has stood by Quilton because its AUSTRALIAN which makes it palatable for the Aussie conscience and even moreso soothing on me spoilt sensitive tooshie!
Not all that much one can say about a dunny roll (hey, gimmi a break one is bored). It's soft, it does the job, and me 'other end' hasn't 'kicked up a stink' so all is good. No 'rash' comments here!
AND,
It must also be used to build houses judging by the quantities people are buying...
One would think the "CHINA VIRUS" affects the 'plumming' more than the lungs. Seems to be another symptom of COVID-19 where peoples 'big-dot's' take over their brains and controls their shopping habits for self preservation! Gosh, retailers say they have sold more toilet paper in the last 6 WEEKS than they had in the 12 months prior!
Hoarding was so bad retailers have now put limits on how much one can purchase. That will teach these hoarders to fart in church!
With this behaviour one can only assume that there is more 'crack' in society than authorities are letting on! Hey, these hoarders must be on something!
Poor souls must be at ROCK BOTTOM suffering severe cases of 'Trumpetus-OrganArseitis' how sad... These poor 'lost' souls suffering so bad will be pleased to know that Quilton has your butt covered with 4 PLY GOLD enriched with shea butter. (See photo below).
So now all Aussies can literally butter their 'beloved' buns!
(Especially their 'chocky chip')
And just in time for Easter too!
With all thats been going on lately one would hate to see how many mountains of this stuff will disappear off the shelves in a dysentery epidemic, or moreso, in the USA in heavily populated 'Democrat' dominated Suburbs when Donald Trump gets back into power!
Gosh, its enough to give the sheets just thinking about it!!!
The 'bums' of Australia thank Quilton for keeping up supplies in these trying times that has all 'butt' 'wiped' our shelves clean of this precious commodity over the months. Quilton has always been the brand on the shelves for us in Townsville during this time of woe where other brands just abandoned us and left us literally in a poop!. (See photo below). Never know what you're missing till its GONE!
Life's no fun till the paperwork's done!
This CHINA VIRUS will be over soon, so BOTTOMS UP for an end to this '[removed] horribilis'!
And remember, BUY AUSTRALIAN!

Nothing wrong with it – Been using it for decades, there's nothing wrong with it. Entire family use it. Refuse to buy any other brand. When staying in hotels, I always had my own pack. Good Quality Aussie Made Product – We have been using Quilton products for years now and have found them to be of good quality and value for money. Great for those times when hysteria dictates that people buy out all the toilet paper in sight, if they had a Quilton 9 pack, that wouldn't have been necessary. Quilton is an Aussie owned and made product and I'm pleased to be able to support Aussie businesses. Try it if you haven't already and judge for yourself.

Quilton 3ply by ABC used to be the marquee of Aussie toilet tissue with soft premium ( short fibre mix) feel at an attractive price position. Recently the quality dropped to a level comparable to the cheapest , low tier imported tissue at best! Now it feels “almost like crunchy wrapping paper”. Shame on ABC! Show details
Absolutely shocking product. I've been loyal customer since Quilton came on the market. Their 3 ply was piling really badly so I tried the new 5 ply ... worse, way more expensive for more tearing, piling, puncturing. Time to change brands! Show details

Quilton toilet used to be a really good quality brand with really soft sheets. Remember "Quilton loves ya bum"? Now Quilton loves ya wallet and apathy". STEALTH!!!. We are told we have to expect Shrink-flation BUT this guy doesn't doesn't "BUY IT"....literally. Shrink- flation is, in my opinion, totally dishonest and people should consider if they are going to accept practise this any more.

They charge a prmium price for their Toilet rolls and they have turned them into rubbish. The sheets fall apart and they are thinner and smaller. Quilton are only shooting themselves in the foot, their sales will drop like a rock.
Quilton paper has gone thinner, it's fragile as well. I had been a very satisfied customer for quilton. This last time I changed to Sorbant against my better judgement. Show details

use a bit of the paper first. With my latest buy, the rolls slide on to the holder with ease! Sneaky sneaky!
Follow-up · To answer the above 3 questions, the quality has not changed at all. I’m not going to be able to count the sheets but the photo below shows an old roll and a new (after shrinkflation) roll; neither one been used yet. To answer your third question, I always chose this brand because of the extra length roll.
So disappointed with my recent purchases of Quilton toilet paper. The paper is narrower & thinner, so have to use twice as much to do the job. Little bits stick to your private parts. Have used this brand forever - would like some feedback from Quilton please! Show details
I'm always promoting the double length quiltons toilet paper as the best. BUT I have been buying the triple length later to be very disappointed in it. The cardboard inside was collapsed with the weight and wont turn smoothly on the holder and you have bits of paper stuck to your private bits, and don't realise until the next time you visit the toilet. The roll width has decreased to 9.5 cm, the accepted standard is 10 cm. The roll are now too narrow to use on my holders. Won't be buying again, very disappointed.
