I bought a slimline tank from Rapidplas and the quality is completely unacceptable. This is a brand-new tank and it is already showing UV damage. The rate of deterioration should see this tank fail within six months. For a product marketed as durable and Australian-made, this level of deterioration is disgraceful. The tank is overpriced, poorly manufactured, and nowhere near the standard customers should expect. I will be warning anyone considering buying from Rapidplas to look elsewhere, because my experience has been nothing short of a rip-off.
Australian consumers are constantly told to “buy Australian” and pay premium prices for supposedly superior quality, yet this product proves the opposite. If this is the standard Rapidplas considers acceptable, the company deserves every bit of criticism it receives.
Your quality control is clearly failing, and your customers are the ones paying the price for it.
Terrible customer service and they do not honour the warranty on their product. They try to blame the customer instead of trying to fix their own fault. It’s good if your tank was made correctly but if they make a mistake they don’t accept it. Very rude and won’t pick up the phone to ask about the problem they send you a “claim form” then find a way to reject it and make it hard for the customer to resolve. Very disappointing experience.

Hassle free ordering and delivery – Excellent communication from start to finish , Delivery driver also contacted me several time to let me know where he was 2 / 22.5 thousand litre tanks and fittings delivered from Tamworth to South West Qld with all fittings etc cheaper than Qld tank suppliers. Tanks and fitting are well made and will last for years to come Highly recommended company to deal with
Terrible customer service – This company offers a sweetener, free delivery to site for large tanks. Of course free delivery is in the price that you pay. Problem is that you may have to wait months for that sweetener. If you ask for a little discount to cover picking up the tanks yourself they reject it outright. Without the sweetener your just left with a sour taste in your mouth oh yeah, and the logistics situation of paying double for the freight. The sales staff in Tamworth could not or would not provide any solution. We were burnt out in the fires so we were locked in, otherwise I would have avoided this type of marketing trickery.
On farm water supply – We have purchased seven 9000 litre tanks from Rapid plastics and all have performed extremely well with no problems other than needing to change the original metal fittings to PVC ball valves for longer life. We had a plumber fit three of the tanks to a windmill system. The others are connected to either a shed or free standing in paddocks and gravity fed for stock watering purposes.
