Very concerning: a service that claims to provide reliable reviews about agents does not allow people who, with evidence of negotiation, decided not to buy a property due to a negative experience with the agent, to report it. Due to a biased and unfair policy, the reviews presented there are completely unreliable and skewed towards a positive perspective, misleading the broader audience.
I wrote a bad review for my selling agent and it never posted. This website only publish good reviews and misleading people. I referred to this website before I select my agent and thought the agent I selected was super good and he will do a good job for me. He turned out to be a horrible guys not even showing up for inspections.
Impressive! We sold our Glenroy home with Mark Imbesi and couldn’t be happier. Mark is genuine, professional, and made both us sellers feel at ease & communicated with us from the onset. Would recommend Mark he delivered and gave us a wonderful customer experience. Susanna and Elisabeth

Deceptive liar who will breach contract and cost you thousands – Beware this agent will wilfully breach contract and refused to give you your house keys. I purchased a property through Property Today Sunshine Coast Agent [Name Removed]. [Name Removed] wilfully breached the sales contract and allowed the vendor to do the same. At the time of settlement when the property became legally mine and money was… Read more
transferred to the vendors account, this agent refused to hand over the keys to the property, continued to trespass inside the house and the land with the vendore and continued to remove items from inside the house, garage and fenced yard in breach of the contract and Summary Offences Act. Even after we arranged an extension to assist the vendors and made multiple attempts for them to extend further to give them time to clear and clean the property but for some unknown reason they refused to request an extension which would have been granted without issue. [Name Removed] ignored lawful directions from me, my representatives and the conveyancers to leave the property and he even had this in writing. [Name Removed] was aggressive and abusive and snached a phone from my representatives hand who was filming on private property and he threw the phone down the driveway. He remained on the property for 3 hours after settlement refusing to leave and when he eventually handed over the keys he stated, "Now f..... off". (This is all on video) This agent is intimidating, unprofessional, unorganised and will not follow the contract. He lied continuously about the state of this property which was advertised as no money to spend and move straight in to a tropical oasis. The inside and outside walls were filthy, the pool was green and filthy, the garden had most of the plants dug up and removed so the previous owner could take them to her new house, dog poo was left all over the rear yard, mirrors were ripped of the wall causing holes in the plaster. The house was filthy from roof to floor. The oven, cook top, dishwasher were all disgusting and don't work. The fire place was full with pizza boxs and ash. All taps were turned ON for some unknown reason and hot water system turned off. An emergency locksmith had to be called to change the locks because [Name Removed] refused to hand over the keys to the property and refused to leave. This cost $1500. This house has been quoted by multiple professionals and tradesman's as the worst they have ever seen. [Name Removed] promised over and over again that this house would be left in a good clean standard ready to rent out. I have incurred costs up to $15,000 from every trade you can name as I purchased a house from interstate through [Name Removed] who is nothing but a con artist. This site won't allow the video of him aggressively snatching the phone and throwing it down the driveway however this will be uploaded to YouTube shortly. I won thr law suit against Property Today Buderim for their false representations and against the seller.
Central village Mayfield Newcastle [Name Removed] – I rented a unit in maitland nsw through an agent named [Name Removed] from central village Mayfield. I fully 100% regret renting through & giving this person a position of power over me. I chose to leave & vacate this property after 11 months due to abusive chain smoking, alcoholic neighbors, cockroach infestation, no ventilation & mold problems… Read more
also causing me to throw out some of my possessions & also just having no trust or support from [Name Removed], & you can see the cleanness of the property from the pictures taken by her before I moved in these pics are of domain. [Name Removed] is a cold, angry, hateful person that does & will favor undesirable abusive alcoholic drug addicted Tennant's over quantity respectable Tennant's that do the right thing. Weather your a good tennant or not if she doesn't like you, you can forget about trusting this agent for providing positive reference checks. She's put me in a very difficult position because now I can't trust & never really did trust her, I think she's already provided negative reference checks even tho I was the one who ended the tenancy & received the bond back in full, also my agent before this was very good but their office has closed down permanently, so I basically have no references now & a 1 year gap in my history, like the current rental market isn't already hard enough, she doesn't care tho she's not the one with mental health problems living rough. I think she has some unresolved issues & a hatred for men. Straight up avoid this agent she will be of no help, just the opposite she will sabotage roadblock & derail you if she takes a dislike to you. She can't be trusted at any level avoid
Fantastic marketing platform – Great way to provide actual evidence of both vendor and purchaser experiences with the agent and as a high performance agent using Rate My Agent for many years I highly recommend their services as a genuine neutral transparent public platform. Show reply
Not trustable website & cannot leave an unsatisfied comment – I leave a comment regarding [name removed] & [name removed] in Burwood rental property maintenance delay. The agency did not fix the issues on time. A property manager makes the property deterioration worst because of the property maintenance stagnated. The website replied to me waiting for sponsor agency approval.

Rodney Triffett HARCOURTS WEST COAST TASMANIA 0427512242. No man could have the patience, of putting up with Godzilla (me) my many questions, on many different properties, and not a feather ruffled, or out of place. I am a real estate agents nightmare. Ok, I do have the money. I just cannot find THE place. But a real estate agent doesn't know… Read more
that I am seriously buying, especially when I chop and change my mind. Sometimes, I ask questions already listed. (Ok, Only a couple of times.) Did go to make an offer on the other rival real estate Company, last Saturday - it's Tuesday. Still waiting for THEIR call back! A cash offer!! Read their on line reviews. Terrible. Same dis-service as I got/getting. Anyway they did me a favour. As since then, now seeing better properties. It must be the hardest thing to achieve on earth, finding the right place, to call home. In all the real estate agents I've contacted all over the place. This real estate agent BY FAR is genuinely interested in helping me. Is he a GOD? I ask myself. This includes my life time of buying and selling. He is streets ahead of any real estate agent I've known both, in NZ AND Australia. PS. (I've brought and sold heaps renovation job houses. Heaps. So I do know what I'm talking about). It just seems so difficult for me, to find the one house, that I permanently want to buy. Still looking.
If you are in the West coast of Tasmania - and looking for the BEST agent. I haven't met Rodney, in person. But I can guarantee you. He loves his job, because it shows, when he replies to your queries, and helps you in any way he can. Very switched on. Not like some I've had to deal with in, la la land. LoL.
Save yourself stress. By asking him for help. Very professional. Very dedicated. Zoom zoom on my broom to look for 'the' property.
This Website has been helpful to my Business as it has increased the views to my Profile and Properties. I have just sent an email to them to correct a property listing that is an "old listing" and they have responded immediately. Thank you as I was sceptical when I first began using the Site but I believe it has been a helpful marketing tool.
A Champion Guy who Provides True Customer Service – I was very impressed with Jarrod at Rate My Agent and his customer service. Testimonials will appear in my Google account. He didn’t just send me a link and just say follow the instructions. The fact that he took the time to call me and be patient with me and set everything up for me step by step to make sure it is done properly was great help for me.

Untrustworthy & Biased. Only allowed to post good reviews! An agent has cost me millions of dollars & is being sued by another agency yet apparently rate my agent can’t post the review! calls from agents and developers informing me that Antionette had not only stolen another agency’s photos of my property, but was also promoting the listing as her own to hundreds of contacts.
This was done without my consent and after our contract ended. Her actions were deceptive, reckless, and have cost me millions in lost opportunity. The agency whose images were stolen is now pursuing legal action.
Antionette’s conduct was a desperate attempt to maintain the illusion that she was still representing the property after failing to deliver any results.
Terribly biased, misleading site. I posted a very factual 1 star rating for an agent that bungled my property sale, and the review sat there for a month before it was removed by whom, and for what reason I have no idea) . Don't waste your time reading all the fabricated 5 star reviews, it's all lies.

FOSTER FROLING - Misleading Real Estate Agency – Reneged on Offer After Holding Deposit Paid This is a factual account supported by detailed notes taken immediately following conversations, and it has been formally reported to both the REIV/Consumer Affairs Victoria. On Thursday, 10/04 at 12:00 PM, our offer for a property in Mornington was… Read more
accepted over the phone. We promptly received a congratulatory email along with a request to pay a holding deposit, which we transferred at 12:50 PM. At 4:48 PM, we received the contract of sale, and at 5:30 PM, we returned to the property to meet with the listing agent, take measurements, and further inspect the home. During this visit, the agent expressed enthusiasm about our purchase and even invited us to place the "Under Contract" sign on the property and took our photo. When asked whether we had signed the contract, we advised that we had only just received it and would need time to have it reviewed. At 7:30 PM, we called the agent to confirm that the contract had been sent to our conveyancer for review, and we assured them it would be signed and returned the following morning. The agent agreed to this plan without objection. To our surprise, the next morning at 8:28 AM (Friday, 11/04), we received a call from the agent, who informed us—abruptly and with disappointment—that they had accepted another offer that was $25,000 higher and included shorter settlement terms. This was a complete shock, particularly in light of the previous communication and the clear implication that the property was secured under our offer. We subsequently contacted one of the agency's directors, who acknowledged the situation and apologized, but stated that the offer had never been formally accepted and that no agreement existed until a contract was signed. Despite this, the agency had already accepted a $2,000 holding deposit from us, and their communication remained inconsistent and unclear. Further complicating matters, the director later disclosed that a contract had been sent to the second buyer 13 hours prior to our phone call at 9am, which indicated that the second buyer was offered the contract after we had been invited to place the "under contract" sticker on the property. This discrepancy raised serious concerns about the integrity and fairness of how our offer was handled. an effort to proceed in good faith, we signed the contract—after having it reviewed by our conveyancer and incorporating updates that had been approved by the agency—at 1:14 PM on Friday, 11/04, in the hope that the other party might ultimately withdraw. That evening at 8:00 PM, we received a missed call from the director who we spoke to the following morning at 7:48 AM. He informed us that the vendor stated if the difference had only been $5,000, things might have been different, but $25,000 was too significant to pass up. We were then asked if we would like to submit another offer. At 11:30 AM on Saturday, 12/04, we submitted an increased offer via phone—an additional $20,000—and asked if the vendor would honour the initial acceptance and agree to proceed. The reasoning we were given previously indicated that the original $5,000 difference wasn't an issue, so we believed this increased offer might be successful. At 2:55 PM, the agent called us back to confirm that the vendor had chosen to proceed with the other buyer. The agent then cited better settlement terms as the deciding factor. This was contradictory to earlier conversations, where settlement terms were never raised as a critical concern. When we asked whether matching the $25,000 difference would sway the decision, the agent reiterated that the settlement terms were more favourable with the other party and that the vendor was proceeding with them. Once it was clear we were no longer being considered—and after what appeared to be a string of inconsistent explanations and attempts to soften the outcome—we requested the immediate return of our $2,000 holding deposit paid on 10/04. This was agreed to without resistance. We were left extremely disappointed and frustrated by the entire experience. The conflicting information, shifting narratives, and lack of transparency gave the impression that the situation was poorly managed and unprofessionally handled. While we understand that real estate transactions can be complex, the way this matter unfolded felt deceptive and untrustworthy. This experience has led us to believe that the agents at Foster Froling acted without integrity. We felt misled, strung along, and ultimately blindsided. Based on this experience, we strongly caution others against engaging with this agency and recommend they seek representation elsewhere.

compensation. They will disrupt your life any way they can. The exit condition report you get is massive 900+ pictures to decifer what exactly is wrong. Not very communicative and send to tribunal for no reason at all which bond gets frozen. They misled buyers by photoshopping pictures and swindle tenants out of bond money on damages that was already at the property before you moved in and what was already in the house. Very nit picky and even though you hired a cleaners who did a fantastic job they are still not satisfied. They will do any thing illegal to put a tenant through hell this is a warning never be a tenant with these criminal, pathetic and pitiful real estate.

sold by another agency for more than our listing with Ray White Beaches, Cairns worst agent . Rebecca Butson , the Ray White agent handling our property, is the most unethical and unprofessional real estate agent I have been involved with in 45 years of property experience. Caveat Emptor
Reviews arent acurate – They dont allow you to leave a review if your agent didnt manage to sell your property, which means the reviews are all postive and not a reflection of the agents.
DO NOT ENGAGE YPA RYE – DO NOT ENGAGE !!!!!!! If I could leave a zero I would, in fact a negative would be appropriate for the aggressive and manipulative behaviour from Tony Talarico of YPA rye. Don’t be fooled by his soft spoken words when he tries to get your business - he will become aggressive and then call police and tell absolute lies to cover himself. Clearly police found the truth and you TONY told lies!

offer. He claimed it was in the 95 pages of disclosure documents (but we couldn't find it and he didn't mention it). Luckily our legal assistant called the head of the HOA to check on the property. He then said he didn't know (though he'd sold properties here before). Ultimately, we bought the property but it took weeks to get all the keys and we still cant unlock one window; the apartment was left pretty dirty and the heating system was broken, as was the dishwasher (< 10 year old construction - [Name Removed] had indicated that an inspection was not needed). We are still getting mail for the sellers but now no follow-through from [Name Removed]. Overall probably a pretty average experience.
Not trustworthy website – This website is not trustworthy, they only allowed buyers to leave reviews to the agent they deal with, how can it help with other buyers to avoid bad agents. response, I want to response to the agent's response, and I can't. When I email them, they said you need to fully purchased the property, so you can leave the review. My case is complicated, property is under my boyfirend's name, but we purchase together, it didn't go through under my name. And then they removed my review, they only protected agents not buyers. So basically it's impossible to leave any negative reviews on this website .

Honest and factual reviews not accepted – They are a law to themselves and their contributors. Truthfull negative reviews are not really what they want. They choose to support real estate agents who breach Court Orders over the truth., support people who have been charged with fraud over the truth. Whatever is on their website must be taken with a grain of salt and cannot be taken seriously as they are not accurate reviews, the real honest accurate reviews are not published.

before a sale goes through. Don waste your time reading all the positive reviews because this service is not interested in the negatives and true ethics of agents hence they can get away with what they like and make the industry look so bad.

review (because they knew the review wouldn't be flattering) & as they don't list my property as one of their rentals,I can't leave a review myself. This website does not allow for honest & accurate reviews of an agent's performance as the agent is in control of who can & can't leave a review.
RMA does not post unflattering reviews – We gave an honest 1 star review of Barry Plant which was not published. The site is designed to benefit agents as they are the paying customer. As a consumer you should disregard this website.
Working for Agent Benefit only – Working for agent benefit. Only publish for the clients who bought and sold. If an agent does an unethical practice like hidden auctions, or taking multiple deposits for the same property, you can't publish the review.
