Unusable Shaver – The Shaver has a faulty design I believe. The trimmer is interfering with the cutters so it useless. Remington should be fined over this design as previous Shavers have been fine. Show details

Absolute crap – This shaver was a complete waste of money. Have always had Remington razors but what happened to this model. Does not cute all the hair... going over and over places still results with hair still there. Should have got my money refunded. Now looking at and bought the 4829 model but hesitant as they both look the same. Think I’ll return it and try another brand. Show details

Disappointed – I wish I'd read these reviews before purchasing this. Scapes my skin, doesn't remove hair efficiently, needing many go overs, no online manual I can find, difficult to reassemble and the grooming tool sometimes pops out higher than the blades and injures me.

Should of used the weed wacker instead – Well i can confidentially say my snatch looks like a man's beard! Did not work at all!! Not a good product the 3 dollar razor works a hell of alot better than this!

Absolute crap – My WDF 4828 has never worked properly. It is good for exfoliating skin but just will not shave leg hair at all. My previous remington shaver was a dream. This one is rubbish and that is where it belongs. I have tried with this shaver for some time and when I bought my husband a new trimmer I avoided all remington products. I will never buy Remington again !!

Very disappointing – Terrible shaver from the first time I used it, it did not cut leg or underarm hair effectively, wish I had returned it straight away. My mum has an older model over 10 years old which still works really well, they are obviously made cheaper these days.

Crappy product and customer service – I bought this razor as a gift for my 13 year old daughter. The cutters stopped working after a couple of months. I had lost my receipt so I contacted Remington to find a solution. They told me that I should be buying new cutters and foils for the razor every 5-6 months and that would be the reason it wasn't working (even though I told them that… Read more

it had only been used for a maximum of 3 months). $29.95 plus $7.50 postage to replace the cutters and foils. No thankyou. I'll be buying a different brand as a replacement. How disappointing!! Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this one.

Faulty Trimmer – I bought one for my daughter who was new to shaving and its been a terrible experience for her. The trimmer stopped working and using it became a waste of time. She didn't realize that the shaver was not working as it should be. I took it back and had it replaced. She has had the new one three months, only using it once a week and already the… Read more

second trimmer has failed. I checked it out and it is not clogged in any way. To have two do exactly the same thing leads me to think the design is rubbish. It is hard to spot that the trimmer is not moving, but when it stops you cannot shave any more. Do not buy this design.

Very disappointed – I bought this to travel with, it is useless. Does not shave very well at all and I end up using a manual razor. Total waste of money. I think before I buy another I will scan reviews first, if I had of read these reviews I would never bought this shaver. I must agree with the majority of reviews on here. Don't waste your money.

Disappointed! – Purchased the WDF-4835 as a replacement for my purple and white WDF 6000 (which were good but eventually that the rechargeable battery would no longer hold a charge, and it's not possible to replace these). Found the WDF-4835 did not work effectively for me (multiple passes, doesn't cut well!). Contacted Remington for advice, the only response… Read more

Don't waste your money – I have owned a Remington ladies razor in the past that did an excellent job. having purchased this model though I cannot express how disappointed I was with it. It failed to cut my leg hairs which are not course. It didn't matter how I shaved in terms of direction or repeatedly over the same area. It musts fails to cut. I have put the razor where… Read more

It doesn't cut hairs on my legs or underarms – I have used Remington electric ladies shavers for more than 10 years having had 3 of the grey/lavender coloured models. They were excellent. Eventually the blades became blunt and I would replace each shaver. I bought one of the Remington Ladies shavers which was a pink model 4835AU for Christmas 2013 and I repeatedly would go over the same… Read more

place on my legs, upwards, across, downwards, to try to cut the hairs on my legs. Even after repeated shaving of the same area, there would be hairs that would remain uncut and meanwhile my skin was getting irritated. There is no excuse for a product that doesn't serve the purposes it is sold for, e.g. shaving ladies' legs and underarms.

What is the point of a shaver that does not shave? – I am extreemly disapointed with this product. I had an old remington shaver for about 5 years that was fantastic, when i decided it was time for a new one i choose to get a remington again. Unfortunatly this shaver does not shave,... it removes hardly any hair, even when you repeatedly go over the same spot,.... useless! nothing it does not do what it was intended to do,.. shave hair!!

not so great – my partner got me this for christmas last year and i loved it. for a while. the smaller, battery pwered one is great. aside from the fact that it sucks the battery liofe like crazy! but the rechargeable one is terrible! i shaved my legs three days in a row, and i KNOW that i had sheved my entire legs, and there were still patches of hair. long… Read more

hair. not like its hard little stubbly bits that the rozar would have trouble grabbing. and it pinches my skin and cuts it. and it hurts like hell! i will be super dooper careful and still end up with thousands of cuts. would not recoment this one. the smaller bterry powered one, the cleaning brushes were nice and the little trvel bag were nice. pinches skin and misses hair.

Good – My partner got this for me last Christmas, I've loved having a rechargeable shaver! When you take into consideration the limited options we have to choose from, it's quite a decent and mostly convenient hair removal solution. As a trimmer, this little baby does a great job. However, if you want those smooth and silky legs you see in the ads… Read more

it's going to take a lot more time, which means you're going to use a lot more power. Hence, it would be great if Remington brought out a mains powered & rechargable model in the not too distant future.

All in all, I'm very grateful to have it... especially when you see the prices of some of the top end men's shavers! - Easy to use

- NO RAZOR BURN

- Wet or Dry Use

- Easy to travel with when using storage pouch

- Easy to clean

- Holds charge for quite a while - No option to use mains power directly

- Time consuming if you want a close, even shave

Terrible – I thought this was a great product for the first year I used it. Gives a good close shave, can be used wet or dry and no nasty razer burn. However, after the first year the internal battery started to go and I needed to recharge it after every use. By the second year (just as the warranty expired) the thing basically died. It now has to be… Read more

constantly plugged in, if I leave it off of the charger for as little as an hour the thing won't work. And, even when it is "fully charged", it only lasts 2-3 minutes - enough to get about half a leg done properly. No good at all! I would spend your money on something that is battery operated or has a cord that can be attached. Rechargible. While being rechargible is handy, if it runs out of charge half way through a shave you're stuck - you can't add new batteries or a power cord ... you have to wait for it to recharge.

I have also experienced the dying battery and have found that it cannot be replaced so an otherwise good shaver gets thrown out after 18 months.

Excellent – Found the unit to be very easy to use. Handles well & shaves well. It is a great option to have when you dont want red raw razor burn or razor cuts. Found it to be a little difficult to use in some spots - but the purchase of a ~$30 personal trimmer with a small head fixed that. [i had some minor pinch marks under my arms that were proof to that].… Read more

Overall I would recommend this type of devise but also I've found the Remington reliable & easy to use & maintain. use wet & dry; smooth shave; quick shave recharge only so if i want a quck shave & it's not charges need to wait a short while before using it. Wide head makes it awkward to shave some spots

OK – I have had two of these the first one wouldn't charge properly and kept dying.Luckily it was still within the 2 year warranty.Got the second one and I am quite happy with it.I like the fact that it can be recharged, not the closest shave so if you like your legs really smooth perhaps this one is not for you! Excellent – This is the second Remington I have bought, the first ones foil cover broke so I had to buy another but it is worth it. It doesn't make me itchy or give me a rash like shaving with a razor does which is great. You do need to spend time after using it to clean it properly so that it stays in good working order. I have found it easily does both… Read more

So far so good – Had been poring over online product reviews for shavers best suitable for the bikini area but after reading so many contradictory opinions decided to go with this model as the local Retravision Bulk store was selling them for $45 which included a separate battery operated bikini trimmer. At first the trimmer seemed like over kill but is actually… Read more

necessary for when the hair growth is quite long as the actual shaver is more like a men's facial shaver so is best used on a fairly short growth. So I used the trimmer on the area first but probably won't need to use it again anytime soon if I use the shaver on a regular basis. Apparently the shaver can be used in the shower (although the trimmer cannot) although I use it dry and it works well. I agree with a previous reviewer who said it takes a fair bit of time to shave all the hair off but once I do the area is quite smooth & stubble free. And I would rather spend the extra time using a shaver of this type than risk nicking any delicate bits! Good for bikini area Woul'd prefer it was for dry use only & could be plugged directly in to power outlet rather than recharge only

OK – I think for the price it is great, my boyfriend bought it for me as a gift. I have an issue with it really hurting and leaving a nasty rash underneath my underarms. I got quite a shock but apart from that I only use it to do my legs. The recharged batteries don't seem to last very long unfortunately but it is very good for the price. It works… Read more

Good – Makes shaving nice and easy especially if you can't make it to the waxing salon all the time. I think my battery is starting to fail as it needs to be recharged a lot more often than when I first purchased it. It does have enough charge to do both my legs. This is another great product from Remington and I recommend this product to anybody.… Read more

Nice and easy to use. Love the fact that it is rechargeable. It is easy to clean and nice and compact. Made from a well known brand name. Nothing that I can think of.
