Fancy Website – You have this fancy website but no price, no I'm not going to call so you can put the hard sell on me, If you are honest you would publish a price, this makes me suspicious.

Great sturdy multi purpose ladder – I have renovated three houses + helped friends & family with theirs over the years. Ladders being an important tool for renovating inside & out the house so I have always bought quality brand names so it would stand the test of time. Both my small 6ft & 10ft step ladders need replacing and my extension ladder has issue with extending so I got… Read more

quotes to replace them which was over $2000. I seen the Renovator ladder advertisement many times on TV and I am very sceptical when it comes to buying thing that are promoted the way it is on TV. Despite that and the bad reviews I ended up buying one as it covered all my needs in the one ladder and a cheaper option. Was sceptical up until the day it arrived and put it to work. I had a list of jobs I struggle with using standard ladders. I am very impressed and made the jobs easier and a lot safer. I was surprised how sturdy it is compared to the other ladders I've owned. The leg leveller is great when I cleaned the gutters on uneven ground. Also used it change the roof on an entertainment shelter. Over all very impressed and happy with the purchase Saved me money and looks & feels like a quality product when using it. They are not cheap and are heavy but there's not much difference weight of a quality 10ft step ladder and a lot less awkward to set up and use. I didn't have any issues with the sales person who was very helpful and took the time to explain all my options. I have not tried the cheaper multi ladders you can buy from your local hardware store but have looked at them in store. They are a lot flimsier and not much lighter. I guess you get what you pay for.

How about answering up front how much the price is? – Firstly I rang the phone number to enquire about the price and was told they couldn't tell me. They then asked for my phone number and a representative would call back. 30 minutes later they rang and refused to give me the price until they did their ridiculous sales pitch which took forever. After finally hearing the sale price I was amazed at how… Read more

expensive when compared to similar ladders sold at Bunnings/Mitre 10. To your marketing department - please show respect to the Australian consumers by not stuffing people around by taking phone numbers and just tell them the price straight up or have the price on your website. This avoids us having to give you personal information unnecessarily and allows the consumer to compare ladders on the internet. I decided not to go ahead after finding comparable ladders at my local hardware store but received a further 3 phone calls asking if I wanted to make a purchase!!! Australians don't like being stuffed around and want straight up answers without the crappy sales spiel.

DO NOT BUY.IT'S AN OVERPRICED SCAM.GO TO BUNNINGS INSTEAD!!!!! – first you start by calling the number on those annoying adds with the guy wearing the ladies shirt and high heeled pointed black boots. they tell you that they are busy and ask for your number to call you back....first.do not do this.just keep asking for the price.they tell you they dont know and have to have an agent call you back. but… Read more

eventually they will give it to you. finally when they give you the price your jaw hits the floor.after the tv add that goes on and on and on forever making it seem like your getting the cheapest deal going.the price is a staggering amount.more than double what you can pay in bunnings. the operator then begins to tell you that their ladder is better and bla bla bla!!! offering lifetime warranty bla bla bla.and free return if you dont like the ladder.NOTE:ONLY IF YOU PAY THE RETURN SHIPPING AND YOU STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL BOX.IF YOU DONT HAVE THE ORIGINAL BOX YOU DONT GET A RETURN REFUND.VERY VERY SNEAKY!! WHO KEEPS A BOX AFTER THEY UNPACK SOMETHING FOR A WHOLE 30DAYS??ANSWER....NO ONE!!! truth is.you can walk into bunnings.get a gorilla ladder that's exactly the same.buy work platforms and leg levellers and still pay less than half the cost of the transforma ladder.you get a receipt.walk in and out in a matter of minutes.PLUS you get a warranty.if it breaks just take it back to bunnings and they give your money back or exchange for a new one. the people selling the transforma ladder will pester you non stop...UNTIL they have your money.if you have a problem after that good luck trying to get any kind of customer service. you have been warned.go to bunnings instead!!!better service and half the price.instant purchase.no need to wait days and weeks for your ladder to arrive.

Still going strong ~10 years later – I got this ladder after I loaned my (straight extension) ladder to a friend and it came back months later rusted and in poor shape. (A lesson in that!) It’s a great sturdy versatile ladder. It is a little bit harder to move and adjust than the TV ads, but I use it all the time and have no trouble carrying it up and down stairs and putting it in… Read more

and out of the car and so on. I’ve never used the attachments, though I do have the poster that came with it stuck up in my shed so I guess I could work out how to use them if I wanted to.

The blue plastic is the only non-sturdy element — it’s starting to break and chip off now — plastic is a bit thin and flimsy.

But I’ve painted two houses, built garden arches and trellises and fruit and vegie garden frames, installed blinds, cleaned gutters and high windows, and endless other tasks, and it’s served me really well (as a DIYer). Finally, I noticed some comments on this page about women not being able to move it. I’m sure that’s the experience of those individuals — but as a woman in my 40s I have never found it too heavy. The way it folds up makes it way easier to move and carry than my old ladder which was probably a little bit lighter but long and unwieldy to move around (and wouldn’t fit in the car).

Great ladder, but not for a 99 pound weakling – I am a carpenter/builder, and have had this ladder for ten years plus. Best ladder I’ve ever owned and I started in the building industry 48 years ago. You won’t get a more stable ladder, and I even use it as a trestle to support a plank for numerous situations, not supposed to use ladders as trestles). The adjustable levelling leg extension works… Read more ·  1

really well, the stand off brackets, and the push-out platforms make tedious work at heights so much easier. Yep it is not a lightweight ladder, but if it was, it would not be stable like it is, and I would be back using a wobbly dangerous ladder!

The negative reviews here just don’t know how good this ladder is, and with covid, the shipping is a problem for most businesses.

If you want an extremely stable ladder and are a real bloke, get one, you won’t regret it.

About 6 months after I received the ladder, a new set of the inner legs arrived unexpectedly. The delivery driver didn’t know why, however, I called the seller, and they told me that there had been a small number of these ladders that had below standard welding, so they just replaced the whole 3 months when the fault occurred. I still use the “faulty” legs, and no failure. The point is, they stand by their product.

Perfect for households – I bought from TV shopping can't remember which one 2005 in NZ, it was heavy to lift, unpacked it where it was. The parts were not heavy to lift at all and I am female. IF RETURNING, YOU PAY $150 SHIPPING BACK & THEN $149 P/H BY THEM – Thirty kilo of ALUMINIUM should be part of their advertising; we didn't even remove from packing as even too heavy for the delivery guy to place in our entry way. Hard to find a courier unless we had an account! Very clever tactic. To top it off paid total $299 to cover their p/h and us to send back to them - without even using it!! This is definitely only for tradies. Show details

Cannot deal with this company – If you're like most Australians you just want to go into a shop, or go to a website, or at worst, phone a call centre, to buy what you want. never-ending sales spiel these well-trained foreign call centre robots have been made to give you before telling you what you really want to know. This ladder looks great on TV, and maybe it is. I've seen it at the Royal Show and I was impressed and I wish I'd bought it then. I just want to go on a website and look at the model choices and associated costs, make my decision and buy it right now - before Christmas. But I can't. I had to stop the guy twice to tell him I've heard all this before, I don't need to hear it again, I just want to buy it outright now, not on a monthly plan, just tell me the options and costs so I can buy it. But no, he just couldn't do that. In the end I just had to say, "You just don't get it", and hang up. Since then he's tried to call me back every 5 minutes and now they've got my number I'm dreading how many more times they're going to call me from now on about everything else they want to sell me forevermore. Maybe they won't but I don't get junk phone calls on my mobile, only my landline, and now I'm really worried. I will give up on this ladder and go and find one in a real shop staffed by Australians. When are these companies going to get it, Aussies hate this sales stuff. I don't care how good the ladder is, I cannot support this company. If the product is that good, sell it directly on the website or, better still, in a shop like most others do.

Versatile, portable and durable but a bit heavy – I've owned this system of ladders for almost 12 years. I've used it for everything. Tree and shrub pruning, cleaning out gutters, accessing roofs, internal and external painting. Its very easy to set up so you can very safely work at heights. The ability to set the legs at different levels on uneven ground is fantastic. I used that function… Read more ·  1

plenty of times. The extra steps are handy for placing tools and paint while you work. The telescopic nature of this ladder's construction is 100% reliable. It can be lengthened and shortened easily which makes carrying it in cars very quick and simple, I've found. Quite expensive compared to other ladders at the time, I'm glad I forked out the extra cash. This will be the last ladder I ever buy, by the looks of it.

did they offer a replacement & no local service options. I’m a single female and don’t have the knowledge on how to fix the ladder. So my ladder has been unusable after 4 uses.
