Is the system compatible with generator support
Cheers Steve
Hi Steve, Are you looking at a Reposit No Bill system design proposal? I ask this because Reposit No Bill only works on Reposit No Bill systems. It doesn't work on any other equipment. This is a good place to get more information:

All Reposit No Bill systems are based on DC-DC (DC Coupled) inverters. The brand of the equipment that we use in a proposal depends on your home's available space, your usage, and your likely future requirements. None of our equipment has an engine-based backup generator input.
If you are interested in getting a design done for your home, I can help you do that. Please let me know.
Cheers, Devidian
Hello Reposit team, why are you not responding to our phone messages and emails please?! We've been trying to contact you for many months about why we are no longer receiving grid credit and why the app won't recognise the replacement battery from LG!
Hi Good Things, what number are you calling us on? Try 1800 773 851 and select option "4" if you have been using some other number. If that doesn't work (which it does, I just called and spoke to one of my colleagues) then let me know here and we can try another number for the Customer Service team.
who ows REPOSIT
Hi Paul,
Reposit is owned primarily by the CEO and a single Australian family office. Reposit staff are given the opportunity to own shares in the company via the employee share plan.
Hi everyone. We are about to jump into solar. Was about to pull the trigger on a 7.4kw Sunpower solution with 10.1kw hybrid battery (5kw inverter) for $15k, when I came across the Reposit power no bill solution. Trying to figure out if we will be better off with Reposit or our own solution, or even reposit on top of the proposed system without the 7 year no bill offer. any advice appreciated. We use 45kwh/day (granted, we have an old thirsty hot water 4.8kw input system that will be chewing a chunk of this during the night...we will be looking to swap this out if need be post solar). thanks
It's probable you'd be better off with Reposit. The caveat is, if you change power provider to a solar friendly one, manage the battery, manage the system, manage the feed-in vs charge times either manually or through automation, which may be provided by an alternate energy company, you could end up marginally better off. Reposit is a "set and forget" and the no bill works well so long as you size everything correctly. Based on the numbers you provide above, it's highly likely that Reposit will want you to install a much larger system to meet the no bill requirement. I suggest you do indeed remove the thirsty hot water system as this will lower your requirements substantially which then affects system size.
At the very least it would be worth the chat to understand the numbers.
Michael is right in sentiment. If you are very highly engaged with your electricity use and stay that way over 7 years then you will see 65-70% of the value. The difference is that as an individual you are not able to take advantage of Dynamic Network Tariffs, the RERT program, the FCAS markets or contribute to most network services. The Reposit controller does these things and that is how we are able to guarantee no electricity bills for 7 years.
Also, from this year (NSW, ACT, NT, 2025 - SA, 2026 - Vic) there will be times when generating solar will cost you money (https://www.aer.gov.au/industry/registers/resources/guidelines/export-tariff-guidelines). Reposit takes care of this for you, but you will need to keep a constant eye on your grid export otherwise. Changes like this are increasingly common and will keep you on your toes. We are dialled into the regulatory environment and so are well-prepared. This is a key part of being able to guarantee no electricity bill for 7 years.
In short, if you are an enthusiast with lots of time to devote to your electricity then Reposit No Bill isn't for you. But if you want to do other things besides stare at an electricity app (or two) then Reposit No Bill IS for you.
(and yes, you should replace that hot water system with a heat pump - they are excellent)
Iain, it is also worth nothing that Reposit only offers the No Bill product now. You are not able to add a Reposit Smart Controller to any other solar or battery product.
What is Reposit Power doing for the existing users like myself who can no long log in and who refuse to have a "smart" phone? If you click on existing user on the web site you get a message that there is no longer support.
Hi Bob, I think your best option here is to use a low-cost Android tablet to use the Reposit app. The app experience has evolved a long way since we released the web version and we think you will be very happy with it.
Do you have it in Queensland and do we go with say Energy Australia and this is an ad on or is the full deal.
Hey Mackman, thanks for your enquiry. While we're not currently in Queensland, we are expecting to be in the very near future. We take over responsibility for your full energy bill, though you will still stay connected to an energy provider like Energy Australia. For more information, feel free to take a look at our FAQs: external link or give us a call on 1800 773 851. Best, Danny
Hi Mackman - Reposit No Bill is now available in QLD.
Hi
Looking for some help and to see if Reposit can help my power situation. I have a 3 Phase Power Supply to my home. I would like to install solar panels, inverter and battery. With 3 Phase power I believe a 3Phase inverter will spread the DCtoAC over the 3Phases, maximising the system. I want the system to work with a battery to store solar and feed from the grid off peak and to top up the battery if necessary. I can do without charging the battery if the grid is down, as where I live the power/grid is very reliable. Based on the below consumption - what would be an ideal system. Our biggest power guts is a 14KW A/C, which we run during the day when very hot 11am-5pm. On Hot nights we set up the A/C to run 1 Hour on/ 2 Hours off from say 10pm - 5am - so 3-4 hours over night maybe 10 nights over summer. We have Gas Cooktop, Gas Hot Water and Electric Oven. My wife works from home 3 days a week - 2 laptop computers, 26inch Screen + an iMac. We have 2 Teenage Boys with Computers and XBox etc etc etc who use mostly from 5pm-1am. Any suggestions on setup and capacity of system very welcome.

Hi Scott - your situation is exactly what Reposit No Bill was built to address. Under Reposit No Bill you can run the AC, cooking, all the gaming gear and everything else in your house and be guaranteed that you won't see a bill for 7 years. It also means that power price increases, solar feed-in decreases, and the solar tax introduction can be completely ignored. See external link for all the information you need.
Hi, I'm keen to install a Reposit no-bill system in Canberra. But of course being cautious I want to see solid reviews from current and past customers. I haven't been able to find out much information about Reposit and they were pretty cagey when I asked on the phone. I see that after some negative reviews, there has been a surge in positive Reposit reviews in the last few days, most from people who have never previously posted on Product Review. If you had your time again, would you recommend signing up for the Reposit no-bill system?
Absolutely. It is one of the best decisions we have made. Reposit asked me if I would post a review but they never asked me if the review would be positive or qualified in some way. My review says it all. I can't speak too highly of them. I have seen one or two negative reviews and I find it hard to believe they are being objective. It is possible part of the reasons for their negative comments could have been related to faulty battery performance. I gather there have been problems with some LG batteries made 4-5 years ago, resulting in a recall of some. We have both Reposit and an LG battery (to supplement our Tesla one) and have had no issues at all.
My experience with Reposit has been overwhelmingly positive. The system basically adds a layer of intelligence to the PV/Battery combination to optimise the way the power produced by the panels is utilised. In particular the time shifting of household usage to avoid peak tariffs is of major benefit ie partly charging the battery at off peak rates overnight to cover predicted usage during the morning peak.
The system works best if you are configured for a 'Time of Use' tariff - the default is often flat rate tariffs where time shifting is of no benefit. i would also add that it is critical to look at the daily supply charge as this is often the largest component of your bill if the PV/Battery system if well designed. We changed suppliers and reduced our daily fixed cost from $1.40 to 74 cents. At a Feed in Tariff of 7 cents thats 10 kWhs less power required to offset the fixed cost.
The bottom line is make sure you crunch the numbers as each installation is different.
A couple of other recommendations - Use a longstanding local installer to design and optimise the entire system, and use quality components. The additional expense is worth it in the long run. We have a 10kW LG battery and 23 LG panels (10 and 25 yr warranties respectively). The system was installed 3 years ago. The battery has been identified by LG as having a potential fault - of the thousands of this model battery installed in Australia there have been 6 faults to date. Their response is to replace all the batteries of that type that have the potential fault with brand new equivalent batteries with a new 10 year warranty as well at no cost to the customer.
Finally, if you have shading issues on the proposed panel location, you should include Panel Optimisers on each panel to minimise the effect of shade on the system output. Otherwise shade on a single panel can take out the entire array.
Good luck and i'm happy to be contacted directly if you wish (organise via Reposit)
Thank you Bruce, that is extremely sound advice and gives me some real food for thought. One of the differences with the “no-bill” package is that Reposit arrange the installation and choose the components. From looking at reviews the components do not appear to be quite the top-tier brands. I am yet to discuss that further with them, it may or may not be an issue. But overall I am delighted that your experience with Reposit has been overwhelmingly positive.
Hello Geoff, I would like to know if you went ahead with the no-bill package? I'm very interested in joining and would like to know your experience (if you did). I'm in Victoria.
Hi Ray. No I didn’t. I asked a few questions and it all went quiet for a few months. I used another supplier to install solar panels but no battery. Reposit then came back to me but it was too late. Geoff
Hi Ray and Geoff - We were caught short for a couple of months by the high level of interest in the No Bill product, and our sales team and systems have been rebuilt as a result. Ray - I can see you got your instant quote this morning and you will be contacted by NJ this afternoon to talk through the specifics of your home.
Cheers, Dean.
