Rewards Never paid & No Customer Support – Employer signed up for this scheme. Cashback for using promoted services & retailers was never paid. Help desk requests never answered. A gimmick and a waste of time. Would not recommend.

Rewards for employees in a painful way – Reward Gateway (Smart Spending) is program to provide employees of registered employers with discounts by using their own funds. The app SmartSpending though is painful to use, slow, timeout and may leave users embarrassed at cashiers when the app doesn’t respond or the user timed out. Many stores like Woolworths through their insurance provide better benefits at no additional fee. Further when an employee change employers, Reward Gateway suspends the user’s access and no process, no consultation takes place with the user to provide access to theirs unused paid in advance gift cards. Customer support is below average.
