Great in our case – My daughter only had one blocked nostril and the Right Sign test turned positive. I'm not sure what variants were around at the time, but she tested positive on 30/10/22. I just bought 4 more with expiry dates a long way off. We'll use these and then if we get a negative, will change the brand and to a combination test (flu and COVID; or perhaps… Read more

with RSV too)

The TGA is currently giving them the best rating "Very High". I am however, glad I've read the reviews.

Incomplete – The box that was meant to contain two tests had no containers of the solution rendering it useless. Show details

Do not buy as Not accurate – We have completed 5 test all negative on 4 people in our family. I was concerned as used these previously and had a negative outcome and then went for PCR same day and we were all positive. This is happening again, negative on Rightsign and we are actually positive as had another test using a competitors product. Show details

Waste of money – I bought a 5 pack from chemist warehouse as I was showing all symptoms of covid. I did 3 test in 2 days and it all came back negative. I didn’t feel right so I decide to use a different brand of RAT test and I came back positive. DO NOT BUY THIS! chemistwarehouse very conveniently removed all reviews online and the lt got rid of the “leave a… Read more

Negative result when I know I was positive – Fully symptomatic with cough, fever and runny nose and feeling really terrible. Daily positive results with another RAT brand but daily negative with RightSign. I don’t know how sick you have to be to test positive with RightSign but I would estimate close to hospitalisation given my experience! Show details

Absolute rubbish!! – All the symptoms for Covid and did 5 tests with RighSign.... ALL negative. Tested twice with another brand and both positive. RightSign are RUBBISH. The exact same thing happened to a friend... he never got a positive with RightSign, but other brands showed positive. They are cheap junk!!! Show details

Negative results when positive for covid – Had symptoms of covid and tested twice with RightSign to negative results. Still had symptoms a couple of days later and used a different brand with which I tested positive. Do with that what you will, but I would recommend a different brand Show details

Too many false negatives – Purchased 2 x 5 packs. Family got symptoms, all tested negative with these. Tested positive on a different RAT. A few days later (when our symptoms were the worst), I was curious to test on the RightSign RAT and again, completely negative. A different RAT showed a very strong positive. These don’t work at all. Not sure how “sick” with covid you’d have to be for them to work. Show details

It works – Not at all fun. I could think of better ways to spend $10, but we all gotta do what we gotta do. I bought these off Amazon...a pack of 5 rapid antigen tests for $51 delivered. These are the nasal swab variety.....you know which one I'm talking about......it feels like a self inflicted probe to the back of your eyeballs, after testing your gag… Read more

reflex. The "Control" line appeared quite quickly, within a minute, then I just had to wait the obligatory 10 min (up to 15 min), to see if there was a second line adjacent to the letter "T". Instruction are very clear...don't tilt the test sample!...Just put it down!! Don't touch it! With all the false results about, don't add to the confusion, and just follow the instructions to the letter. You CAN do it! If so, results will be up to 98% accurate (with two tests), but could be as low as 75%. This has all got to do with viral load (how bad you got it!). Small price to pay, for the freedom to go out and get entry into choice venues.

Simple test worked correctly after enough viral load – Started getting symptoms Tuesday. Test indicated negative Wednesday, took another test Thursday that was positive for Covid. PCR confirmed the positive result later that day. Easy to use with quick instruction set in the box. I found the nasal swab test slightly easier than the oral fluid version, but both are quite simple. Test was painless, just… Read more

tickles the nose a bit. You use then swirl the nasal swab in a vile of liquid and then put 3 drops on the indicator panel. Results start to show quickly but take 10-15 minutes to confirm and indicated clearly after 10 mins both days. You need to test over a few days for enough viral load to develop as I did.
