Rip Curl Icons F-Light 100L Global Travel Bag

the bag looks well made and fits what I wanted and ordered. But the odour, the tag says made in china, is unbearable. Instructions say it cannot be washed. But often that chemical odour does not wash out. I put it out on sheltered balcony, had to close the doors to keep the odour outside. 3 days and no. improvement. I am concerned that the odour is very toxic, never had one this bad. I may throw it out. Concerned about how clothes put inside it would smell.
