So I send multiple emails to their support email, which are completely ignored. So now I have no capability of transferring the alarm to the new house owner.

In summary hope like mad that nothing goes wrong with your alarm because you will get absolutely no support from Risco - you will be on your own.

that they needed to introduce an annual fee cloud, just $36 pa. (10 cents per day) Thats great value for the service and peace of mind that you get.

Avoid, the worst security system – It was the worst alarm system I've ever had. A lot of false alarms and network interface errors. It was installed by authorised Risco installer. the fact that usage of the app is free. Stay away from this company. There are plenty of other better companies who provide free cloud access to your system. I personally switched to Hikvision system and couldn't be happier.

Avoid – I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this company. Suddenly the company has decided that their simple (and mediocre) app with 3 on/off buttons, previously free, and advertised that way, now requires a paid subscription. back to base capacity. All of this is applied also to existing customers who were sold the system on the basis that there were no ongoing costs.

Once you have bought the alarm system they just don't want to know you. The product is marketed by Risco who provide the website and the brochures and they push you to a distributor to buy the product. When there are any issues, which is often, they hide behind the distributor who was actually very good (and I would use again as they sell other brands) but is usually unaware of the changes Risco, an overseas based company are making.

We will not be buying any further products from Risco, will move away from the system when it next needs repair, and would never recommend them. I gave one star because it’s not possible to give no stars and frankly that flatters them.

Monthly fees – Initial cost was similar to a number of systems. Within weeks of installation, a monthly fee was introduced to access all of the features for the phone app. Had I known, I would have looked at other options.

Very disappointed – We had Risco Home Security System installed 4 years ago. We installed 8 glass break detectors. In the first 2 years we replaced 3 under warranty. quote to replace the facing unit and came to $ 250. I would strongly recommend to look into different sensors but not this one. Otherwise the system is flawless.
