Rite Aid Digital Temple Thermometer

Should not be sold. This is a danger to children and families – The thermometer does not give an accurate reading. A side by side comparison with my doctor’s and my day care’s separate thermometers produce very different results. The Rite Aid thermometer reads 3 + degrees lower. Every single time. This is consistent with other reviews. This product should be pulled from market as the consequences of children and babies with high temps are devastating.

Useless and unsafe! – Never gave a reading over 36degrees in the year that I used it. It was showing that my boy was 35degrees, however when the hospital took his temperature, he was 43 degrees and very sick! This thermometer should NOT be on the market, it is useless and unsafe! DO NOT BUY!

The worst temp thermometer ever – Just bought this thermometer and turned it on as per instructions on the manual and it reads rlo all the time . Went online and regret buying this after reading all the reviews . Never ever buy this thermometer ever . Waste of money

Inaccurate useless – Waste of money doesn't read temp and shows battery low all the time regardless of new batteries for the price I paid very disappointed Do not buy, might be better off with a cheap one from kmart

Do not buy this product – My 19 month old daughter had covid but this read her temperature as 36.3 degrees. She went floppy/tired and she couldn't breathe well, temperature still reading around 36. Paramedics came out and her temperature was 39.3

Don't even touch one! – This device was ok for a short time then it's now stuck on 30 degrees when I turn it on. Every time I switch it on now I can't use it.

Do not buy – This product will fail after a month , it reads low and from here on you have just thrown away 70 dollars and can put a child’s heath at risk . thanks

Annoying to use – Every time I go to use this thing it's on a different setting, today it's on Fahrenheit when I need Celcius and I can't for the life of me get it back. There's no other button but the on off switch and it goes between actually giving the temp and saying Low and High but not accurately. Super frustrating to use.

Waste of money – Temperature reading will be different each reading within seconds. Device only works if the room temperature is ideal?? Lo /High definitely not recommend purchase it’s as good as a toy.

Pure rubbish – Gives inaccurate readings - same reading everytime for every person! For the price I expected a decent product. It's pure rubbish and so unhelpful when you have a sick child. Also one button to operate and alter settings makes functional operation impossible. Takes ages to reset and you can't do another reading until it goes off and you activate it again! Just don't buy it! This shouldn't be allowed to be sold!

Rite Aid Thermometer (Mini) – I find my Rite Aid thermometer easy to use. Except it doesn’t beep as instruction manual says. So I am not sure if it is working correctly. I have followed the instructions. I tested it on ice cream container & it recorded Hi temp. I bought it from a pharmacy. I think maybe a normal thermometer placed under tongue may be of better use . To be sure of accuracy in the pandemic crisis.

Er.3 after 3 months of inaccurate readings – Product is substantially inaccurate when doing readings . Worked briefly for a month then started showing readings well below what was the actual reading ie 40 deg showing as 37.1 ! This should not be allowed to be sold . Model is FHT6B-RA

TERRIBLE!!! – It's a pity you don't have the option of no stars for this particular product, it is a truly shocking product and shouldn't even be sold. So very inaccurate with temp taking and takes far too long to take a temp too

Absolutely Rubbish and Inaccurate – Bought from ToysRUs in Fountain Gate Store. This Rite Aid Mini Temple Thermometer Model:FHT6B-RA is absolutely rubbish, inaccurate and after 3 months of using start beeping and come with error message IR1. Not RECOMMENDED

Shocking and inaccurate – This was the worst item I purchased thinking it would be easy and accurate. My son had a fever of 39 and this was saying his temp was normal! Do not reccomend to anyone and don't waste your money..

Rubbish! – I bought this for my baby, firstly it takes too long to take the temp, trying to keep a sick squirming baby still long enough to get a reading is difficult. Secondly it is in accurate, would get a different reading every time I checked temperature. Was never sure how high my babies fever was as no two checks ever gave the same reading. And… Read more

thirdly it is in the bin as after a couple of months it constantly came up with an error message when it was turned on. Absolute crap!

Does not work at all – I have owned this since my baby was born 7 months ago and finally threw it out today after trying to use it many times. It comes up with an error message literally every single time. It's one of the cheaper ones on the market & you really get what you pay for.
