Poor workmanship and invoices way above what you are expecting. I had the boat booked in for an anti-foul with an "estimate" for what the job was going to cost. No notifications of any additional time required for the job and the invoices roll in at more than 30% above the so-called "estimate". When queried I'm told that I should expect invoices to be 30% above and estimate as "that's what everyone does". To make things worse the anti-foul was blistering the moment the boat got back to the marina, and has continued to flake away and fall off ever since. Another early anti-foul is now going to be required to rectify the faults.

UPDATE: Not only was the anti-foul very poor quality - they managed to sand the rivets off. my trim tabs causing one to fall off (see photos). So another $800 to rebuild one trim tab and to repair the other added onto the cost. I have since had my next anti-foul done with Able Marine at the marina and it has been completely the opposite- one budget, on time, and so far (4 months later) no sign of poor workmanship.
