I have 3 Roca The Gap toilets and each of them has had 3 soft lid closing and all have brocken - that's 9 broken toilet seats and lids. Bought from Reece in Victoria - when I tried to talk about the 15 years warranty they didn't want to know. Just buy something else!

not sure which model we have had - we used to have 2 - but changed one as that bathroom was demolished and we have a new one in a different location - but of 2 Roca toilets - I have replaced the broken soft close system 3 times in 5 years because it always breaks in the same place - its dodgy screws that snap off after a while - i recon they… Read more

genuinely saw the heads off a tiny bit so after a year or so of the soft close mechanism putting pressure on the screw it eventually snaps off and then they charge you £80 for a new bloody lid. Seriously....

Worst toilet seat ever invented. Have been through 4 now, and the last one just broke after only a few months. Going to tear out the toilet and put in a different type of

Don’t Buy – Bought a Roca The Gap with soft toilet lid. Broke within six months. Sent out replacement parts and wanted me to fix it. Also the water flush barely hits the back wall.

Terribly designed – Absolute trash. Whole mechanism fails from having 1 of 2 screws holding a whole seat in place against the weight of ppl sitting on it. Cheap design and $$ replace. Soon as the seat moves it will stress the soft close mechanism and break

Piece of rubbish – I wish I'd seen these reviews earlier. It's the 2nd time the hinges have broken now in 6 months. Piece of absolute junk. I would actually give it 0 stars...

6 toilet seats in 5 years – There is a fundamental design flaw with the Roca soft close seat. The hinges continually break - we have 3 toilets with these and they’ve all broken twice - and now need replacing again. Absolute crap. Reece are utterly hopeless at coming up with a better seat. Don’t buy - Roca is Spanish for rubbish.

Do not buy – First the seat wouldn't stop moving. They came up with a new set of fittings but I had to pay for them. Then the internals failed. No warranty. Then the full flush button popped off and flushed away. $68 to replace.

Button flushed away – After first flush, button popping up and 0ut. Put the button back in, then my wife flushed, and the same thing happened. Unfortunately, this time it landed in the bowl and flushed away. Reese don't want to know and wanted to charge $67 for a new 0ne.

Worst toilet iv fitted in x18 years, do not buy – Iv been a plumber for x18 years and this is top worst piece of junk iv ever fitted. What incompetent idiot thought make a toilet that dosent bolt together, has a right angle connector, needs multiple wall fixings and half the thing isn’t even assembled. I wouldn’t fit this at my own house if I got it for free. Reece are just making worse and worse junk. Better places even online

Invest in a better product not a good toilet – Day one nothing but problems loose seats that eventually were fixed so better in that respect. Toilet x2 leak we been told unable to get parts so looking at buying 2 toilets terrible when you spend so much on getting a new home built..I wished we were aware of some of the furnishings including Toilets would off invested in a better product. Lasted 5 years approx definable do not recommend....

The worst toilet ever! – When doing number 2's the crap gets stuck on the sides every time! After 6 months the lid & seat is coming off! DO NOT BUY THIS Never knew there was a difference between good toilets and terrible toilets, but now I do

Needs a ZERO star for Roca soft close back to wall toilet – During a new home build we were sent to Reece to choose toilets. Whoever thought toilets could cause so much stress has not bought Roca. We bought 3 x soft close back-to-wall Rocas. What a nightmare. Day 1 on handover and the first toilet started running. Since then we have had all three toilets running, sometimes they start at 3am. To get… Read more

to the water you have to remove the buttons and lift up the systern lid. They leak so often you may as well just leave off the lid altogether. For a new home it's pathetic. To add to this, they don't flush! A half flush requires 2 flushes to get rid of toilet paper. A full flush requires up to 3 flushes AND physical assistance with a toilet brush each time. Without going into detail, it's disgusting. There's a ledge that catches the very thing you want flushed away, and it requires constant scrubbing with a toilet brush and reflushing if you'd prefer to live with a clean looking bowl. Third issue is that the seats loosen and slide left and right, pinching the victim as they sit down. Roca has made a simple item into a complete nightmare. So if you have better things to do than wait for a Reece plumber to visit 5 or 6 times with no offer of replacement, don't buy anything Roca!

Dunny not funny!!! – We built a home with Mcdonald Jones Homes, and in the selection process for bathroom products, was told we could get a really good upgrade on Roca suites with soft close lid. Bad mistake!!! We have had the seats replaced, The seat keeps falling off, The last time whilst having a dinner party, Embarrassing!! Complained again. Reece would only… Read more

Awful! – Less than 2 years of use and lid keeps coming off and wont align properly. Almost immediate staining that won't go away - it's embarrassing! do not purchase this brand, nothing good to say about it.

loose seats – We had ROCA toilets installed with our build. From day one issues with loose seats. Constant frequent tightening of toggles to be told wrong toggles used. They finally replaced seats with new toggles but seats still loose and now going of center to the side less than a day after replacing. One day will replace entire toilets but for now have to… Read more

just deal with it. Would probably not purchase this brand well at least I would seriously google for best options available...

Disappointing – Replaced 2 tiolets in our house with the Roca brand soft close lid. Love the look of the tiolet but oh so disappointed with the flush system, we have nothing but trouble with them leaking from day one. One decides to fill when it chooses and the other consistently leaks, it got to the stage where we had to turn the water on and off each time we… Read more

used the toilet. We finally received two new replacement flush systems but the plumber had not even left when the first one started leaking. Really regret the purchase we made.

Worst purchase I have ever made! – The seat on the Roca toilet that I purchased is unable to be tightened. It usually sits at a 45degree angle. I complained to the company who were unhelpful. They sent new hinges that I had to fit myself and made no difference.

Roca toilet will only work 4 years then toss it away what a waste of money – Biggest bit of garbbish, $1000 toilet don't be fooled by the 15 year warranty they offer, the ceramic isn't going to break , once they start leaking good luck, I've changed the rubbers and seals and we have to flush the toilet 3-4 time so the seal close the hole good or it stays leaking then every 30 sec the water turns on to fill up cistern trust… Read more

me anytime I can show you this bit of garbbish don't flush correct then for some unknown reason your hinges will all break for the seats I've replaced all, $1000 a toilet what a waste of money, the $178 dollars one from Bunnings is better no problems with it ever try calling Roco up ask them you need warranty work done they will laugh, there rude and not helpful at all shop else where and you won't have a heartache my toilets still not working correct and they charge big big prices to come out stay away or come see mine.

June 9th 2017 Update: Still leaking 7 years on

This rocca toilets I bought are still leaking I've changed various parts in them but still leak ripping them out soon and get the Bunnings one for $150 that works better and no specialist rocca man comes n charges you $500.
