Rockwell ShopSeries Car Polisher

Good Dual Action Polisher For The Price – This is an good dual action polisher for the price - certainly not as good as the more expensive brands, but for around about $100, you get what you pay for. The adjustable speed is very handy so you can do either a quick and light polish, or really get under it for a cut and polish. It's powerful enough so you're not spending all day to get the job done, but it can certainly slow down too much if you put too much pressure on it. Again, you get what you pay for.
One of my biggest gripes is the pads, they attach with velcro and if you don't get it exactly in the centre it will vibrate like hell, you have to stop, adjust, and try again. Also, the sheepskin cover barely fits over the pad and can often fly off at high speed. More expensive brands have a threaded centre nut which would have removed these problems.
Overall - an OK polisher, for the price
Nice Polisher But – This polisher certainly does the job. Brings the paint-work up like a professional. One major issue is the size of both the terry-cloth bonnet and applicator bonnet are woefully too small. I had to give up using the applicator bonnet as although I spent 5 minutes trying to force it on, I couldn't get it over the sponge pad without tearing it. The only time I managed to fit it, it flew off. I went back to the retailer and the sales assistant opened up a box with a new polisher and he couldn't fit it either. Surely the bonnets could have been made with more 'give' in them without them being too loose. I would not recommend this product in its present set-up.
