In short, no. To be honest, these hybrid apparatuses are not worth the angst. It's best to get one machine that specialises in one job.

I'm the same as Clive. It was far too complicated to assemble and when I did it was cumbersome. I took it back. Too much bother for what should be easy operation.

after using the chain saw 4 only approximately 1- 1/2 hours the chain stopped dead. after checking it i found the gear box teeth in the box had only just meet and not geared to give full drive [NOW IT'S STUFFED].., [THIS MACHINE HAD OIL AND GREASE] so its a manufacture's fault and i cannot purchase another box without buying blade/chain. can you please shed some light on this problem?

No not under warranty but i had this unit about 14 months before i used it i purchased it from miter10 even though i used all of the other .hedges..etc... NOT HAPPY...
