Roland TD-9KX V-Tour Series

Love it – Can't really go past the V from Roland. Roland just seem to really nail it when it comes to sounds. Plenty of gain too which is great for gigs so good for me.

though they have taken a beating (pardon the pun) not just form me either but my kids - it is not a flimsy kit like a lot of electronic sets, it has a solid base, good materials and sound components. I guess being a brand name Roland you can probably expect that.

When this was new I paid more than $3000 for it - I know you can get them cheaper now so I'd say go for it. The new technology can't add that much to it, it is already so good? :) Anything costing under $2000 would be an absolute bargain for this set up.

A must for students and professionals alike, portable to a degree to, can fold up or completely dismantle fast to allow for transport.
