Rosella Tomato Sauce Questions & Answers
How do I get the last bits of sauce out of my rosella tomato sauce glass bottle...thanks...Mike
How do you open the tip of the plastic cap.
Twist to the left firmly.
Hi Sam, got it open by pushing a small pair of scissors from the inside to push it out. I’ll have to wait till I buy a new bottle to try your way.
life long Rosella user, have 3 plastic Rosella squeeze top bottles in a row that block up completely after every use. haven't had this problem before, must be a production defect, extremely annoying!!!! cmon Rosella be an Aussie n fix this!!!!!
I’ve had 3 in a row also. Got one to work by using extra opening force on cap. Obviously a product killing problem if Rosella doesn’t fix this asap.
How can I easily open a plastic bottle of Rosella tomato sauce? So difficult trying to cut off a plastic bit!!
It should have a screw top with an aluminium seal underneath. Doesn't it? Guess t depends on the brand.
No screw top. It's in the plastic bottle. You have to snip off a bit of plastic but that is extremely difficult. I've tried scissors and sharp knives. Blunted my best sharpest knife! Finally just took the complete top off. Not ideal.
Why have you stopped using glass bottles?
I bought mine in a glass bottle, Rod.
My mother used to keep ROSELLA TOMATO SAUCE in pantry forever always tasted good. Now I am told its supposed to be kept in refridgerator?
I have kept it in the pantry over the colder months ,sometimes it ends up in the fridge but just check the bottle it will provide instruction I will do the same .Be care full if you leave the lid on and turn the bottle upside down to get the dregs out as for some reason the sauce shoots all over the place when you open it.
