Overpriced – Looked at the RM2000 then realised it was a hyundai rm1500 bidet which is priced around the $1000 mark from another supplier asked royalet why this is so and got nothing but round the merry go round answers, shop around and make sure you know what you are buying these guys are expensive for rebadged products. Also these products as at this time… Read more

It’s good but expensive to repair – I been using Royalet RM 1000 and it break down every 2 years. The main water tank cracked and I struggled to find one, then internal water filter started leaking. Now I Can’t find parts to fix.... for peace plastic $1200 is alot of money...

Excellent! – I love my Royalet washlets. (I have two.) The R.M 2000 does everything it needs to and more. The staff at Royalet go out of their way to be helpful too. It is high quality built to last. Another reason I recommend Royalet, is because I like to support Aussie companies. Catherine B Brisbane.

Very good, but do your research – I researched a lot when looking for a bidet seat. I wasn't happy about a lot of the reviews I read of several brands and models. These problems include; rusting pipes, unavailable parts, unhelpful staff and being ignored totally. Overseas models, such as the best selling Japanese 'Toto', were cheaper, but probably would run foul of Australian… Read more

Standards of plumbing and power. I ended up buying the Royalet 2000E. It was not even advertised as a model. At about $1800, it is a top of the range model with good features. The 'E' stands for elongated. It gives a few centimeters extra length in the front to back measurement, which really helps with accessibility. Australians still have not taken to bidets. This is a pity because they are really useful for older people and handicapped people, with mobility issues. The Royalet 200E is easy to use, apart from the black buttons on its remote. One needs to use glasses to read it, and learn to use it by feel. Functions include wash and blow dry, pulsating, child, female. There are also heated seats and deodorising options. To use the female wash, like all other bidets, one has to hoick oneself up to the back of the seat and lean forward. Possibly this is to avoid being sued if the spray goes right up the Fallopian tubes and contaminate the abdomen. (A problem with lady water skiers). Whatever, the female wash on all of them is difficult. Using the wash and blow dry is fine. The seat heats its own water. It starts off a bit tepid but it is never cold. A major problem with all bidets is matching them up to a suitable toilet. 'Royalet' supplied me with an extensive list of which of their models fitted which toilets. Square shaped toilets are out. I went spare trying to use the measurements supplied. "Don't worry; we will make it fit." the plumbers said. They chose the Caroma Forma which is a modern rimless toilet without nooks and crannies. Easy to clean. As I feared all along, the 'Royalet' bidet seat shows a couple of centimetres of the bowl rim in the front. However, the toilet does not leak. I really like using the bidet and it has made life easier. Approximate costs includes the bidet, at $1,800; a new toilet and parts, $1000; and plumbers, electricians and builders, another $1000. Buying a much cheaper bidet is easy to do, but will it work? The bidet requires its own water inlet and power outlet, so that means at least removing tiles, etc. Apparently a lot of Europeans are now removing those separate bidets.
