Sabco Stainless Steel Pegs 15 Pack
Verified1 review
Doesn’t snap like plastic pegs – Tired of plastic clothes pegs snapping, I bought a pack of Sabco stainless steel pegs about a year ago at a half-price special at Woolworths. Since then, more plastic pegs have gone to the laundry basket in the sky, but the Sabco steel pegs are going strong. Still grippy and no rust as I do not leave them out in the elements. So, when I saw them on special again at Woolworths, I bought another pack.
These Sabco pegs look like they are made of one continuous length of wire so do not lose their tension or grip. I’ve found them to be strong and peg heavier items like throws or quilt covers securely to the laundry lines. However the springs are not so strong as to be unmanageable for my arthritic hands.
Before I bought my first pack I was a little apprehensive that they would become burning hot in the summer sun. I am happy to report that I’ve had no problems using the pegs in my summer laundry.
The only down side I’ve found so far is that they do sometimes tangle up with each other in my cloth peg bag. Untangling is easy and takes 2 seconds, but still a little annoying when I dip into my peg bag and end up with 3 pegs linked together.
At $9.90 (or $4.50 on special) for a pack of 15 these are a really good buy.
