Salomon X Ultra 360 MID Gore-Tex Women's Shoes
1 review
My husband and I hike a lot and I’ve worn out two pairs of Solomon hiking boots. They were both exactly the same and they were fantastic. I now can’t get the same boots. They have so many different pairs and styles that I’ve tried three pairs now and have had to send two pairs back at my expense as I had to buy them online because the stores didn’t have my size. I am finally settling for the ones I have but I’m not completely happy. The laces are shorter so I had to take the laces out of my old boots and put them in these, they don’t have a slip in the tongue that holds the tongue in place and the ankles have a lot more padding in them which then means that the tongues don’t fit in underneath the sides of the boots so if I get wet water is going to get in. My husband and I are going to Antarctica soon and I don’t have time to send these ones back so they’re going to have to do. I just can’t work out whywhen you have previously made great boots you would change them unless they think they’ve improved them but to me it looks like they are cutting costs because they’re taking things away not adding to them.
Follow-up · Mr original model was women’s x-ultra mid - I still have them but they have done a lot of klms. I haven’t used the new ones yet - going to Antarctica next month so will let you know how they go.
