This tv is fantastic – Ì still have my samsung 65" in another room . I got the 85" for the media room. We have surround sound and watching sport is an amazing experience. The picture quality is great and watching streaming movie is like being in a theatre. I am so pleased Show details ·  1

HDMI issues - do not buy – Bought this a few weeks ago and set it up with my top of the range Marantz pre-amp. I could not get the HDMI to work properly. Purchased new certified HDMI 2.1 cables. - spent hours over a number of calls with their technicians who could not solve the problem. In the end I assumed that it was likely a poor HDMI implementation by Samsung that was not backward compatible to an older HDMI even though this is supposed to be the case. So I purchased a brand new Anthem AVR with the latest specs. The HDMI would still not work properly! Called Samsung again - they sent out their technicians who spent some hours and could not fix the problem. Said they would investigate and get back to me. I checked the Anthem with LG TVs - worked! Just received a call from Samsung - the problem is with my AVRs, there is nothing wrong with the Samsung TV and they cannot help me!!! So despite two different AVRs that work fine with LG and with problems that only occur when connected to the Samsung the problem is not with the Samsung TV!!
