Samsung Series 4 HD A410

Great for the price – This TV was a great price for the size and the quality. The picture is clear and sound is great. Only negatives: the digital tuner for some reason the channel list doesn't show the program list until I hit enter on each channel. I don't think it's an antenna issue. Also, TV makes a clicking noise (as if it's turning on and off) while it is switched off - maybe a couple of times a day. Kinda annoying but hasn't led to any functional issues at this stage. prize, size, picture quality clicking noise, digital tuner

Good – The Samsung Series 4 42 inch Plasma Display Unit is obviously a great value for money unit. The only shortcomings are that it is not Full HD and it has a limited number of inputs compared to dearer TVs. Ours was given to us as a gift and we have a taste for bigger TVs now. I already want to get a bigger one with Full HD! Plenty of options for changing picture and audio settings will match any associated hardware you want to pair this unit with. It's so much bigger than our old 'big' CRT TV! Only a minor dislike but it is not Full HD. Still does an excellent job and has given me a taste for this type of TV.

Excellent – The best plasma TV for this money, great picture quality, lots of useful features, easy to use menu, quick response to commands/channel change. This model beats other brands costing twice as much or higher. Beautiful colour, good balance on brightness, colour saturation, contrast and very easy on the eyes even after hours of continuous viewing. I paid $1280 for a 50" Series 4 HD plasma Samsung which was the best price at the time (RRP $1899). On side-by-side comparison, this Samsung beat LD, Panasonic of same spec. Its picture was even better then a Samsung full HD of the same size. I'm completely happy with this (Note I also own a Samsung LCD 42" full HD, which cost twice as much but whose picture quality is not any better). Speaker could be better, nut I used external speakers thru a amplifier, so problems solved.

Excellent – I would recommend this product to anyone. I don't see the need to spend thousands of dollars on other brands when you can pick up a television like this for half the price. Fanstastic. I haven't wall mounted my television but have utlilised the stand that comes with the television. Television is very stable on its own stand. This television is very reasonably priced and provides excellent value for money. Picture is very clear and has superb clarity. Easy to install and very easy to operate. Remote control straight forward and simple to operate. Very happy with purchase. Nothing at this stage. Very happy
