Sandhurst Polish Sauerkraut
1 review
Deserving of praise – I haven't tasted any sauerkraut but this in recent decades, but I'm not interested in doing so because this is fine. It's tightly packed, so you get more than you expect. It's finely cut so it's got a lovely texture, just the right combination of crispiness and softness. I like it with ikan bilis - home made nasi lemak with brown rice, and onion marmalade instead of cucumber, because I'm not buying much fresh stuff these days. Covid is endemic now. An end to the pandemic state of emergency has been declared, bit that only means the emergency is declared over; not the pandemic. The pandemic is still going strong, so it's easier to quarantine a jar of sauerkraut than to wash a cucumber. What appreciate as much as this nice tasty pickled cabbage, is the conveniently shaped, useful jar that is beautifully repurposeable, and the fact of the ORDINARY PAPER LABEL that melts off in water. SUSTAINABLE! √√√ Whether mindfully done this way or not, I'm grateful.
