Sanyo LCD26XR9DA

SUPERB PRODUCT! – Purchased the Sanyo LCD26XR9DA in 2009 & still working perfectly, great TV for a great price. In fact it is much better and lasted a lot longer than my $5,000 LG TV which was a lemon as the screen required replacement a month after the warranty ran out! I shall never purchase any LG (Lemon Goods) again, as they are of inferior quality to the majority of other brands.

Poor product – The sanyo lcd tv product is very poor. I have had it 2 years and 2 months and its usage is minimal. I turned it on last night and it operated correctly for approximately 2 hours at which time the picture screen failed and went black (the same as when it is turned off). The sound (voices etc) still came through the 2 speakers. The screen would not show the menu box nor the epg selection box when selected by the remote control. You can still change chanels and volume, however, the sub-boxes do not appear so you can see what you have changed. It is all guess work

The tv was checked again today (including external plugs etc) and it still fails to operate.
