The prescription insert was unusable. Worse, they wouldn't accept a return, despite the 100% satisfaction guarantee.

Unhappy with warranty on product – I bought a pair of Saolar sunglasses in December 2023. Although I have been reasonably happy thus far with the glasses, the arm of them recently broke. I was told by Saolar in an email that I had not purchased the one-year guarantee so my glasses were only under warranty for one month. How utterly disappointing. I have never heard of such a short warranty period. Also, the glasses are advertised as photochromatic, but they were not really that good in direct sunlight. Okay for dappled light though. Would I buy these again? NO! Once bitten, twice shy. Don't buy this product.

Reasonably good – I purchased a set of Saolar photochromatic bicycle glasses in December 2023. - Delivery is from China was quick. Even though the box was damaged, the glasses are in a case and were fine. - Construction seems good, they are sturdy. - They are very good for early morning rides (in darkness and/or dawn light) - They are no good for bright sunlight - this is the whole point of the glasses being photochromatic! - It is very difficult to find their Returns policy. When I did ask for a refund, they said do more testing etc etc. I gave up on them.
Would I buy again? No.

Update. The following is advertising from Saolar. "Saolar sunglasses. Undeformable and unbreakable." If they are undeformable and unbreakable, then why are mine BROKEN, despite me looking after them with great care? In the advertisement, the sunglasses are twisted and bent every which way. Why do you need to purchase an extra 12 months warranty for something that is "unbreakable"? Really, it's completely and utterly false advertising to say the least. Disgruntled and disappointed.
