like you can't wear them in mud. All the dirt has gotten into the sole and it's fallen off in one piece - on both shoes. I paid around $230 for these boots and haven't worn them all that much. I will never buy this overpriced brand again. I read another review on a different site and I saw some similar comments. One guy said he'd only owned his 2 years. What's disappointing is I was sold these by the store (Down Under Camping) that it was worth investing in these high quality (expensive) boots as they would last such a long time - that's total rubbish. I've had cheaper shoes I've worn longer last longer than these. Very disappointing to say it nicely. A total ripoff is the truth. I will never spend money like that on boots again. I will never buy anything from Scarpa again.
