G’day Cameron, Mine peaks out at around 92 km/hr on a smooth Somerset dam. This will vary of course if you are using yours at sea where winds, swell and current come into play. Mine is the 2016 model. It has a 3 cylinder naturally aspirated engine. Specs will be on line for the year model you are looking at. Believe me, this is scary fast if you’ve only ever been in a tinnie before!

I don’t know if you’re new to jet skiing or not, but I’ve found the real Achilles heel of them is the intake underneath. I had a tube rope get sucked into this and wrapped round the shaft. This results in the machine being rendered useless until you can get it out of the water and patiently free the obstruction with a knife, maybe an old wire coat hanger and loads of spare time. I like to do solo touring out at sea, and it’s easy to get paranoid when you know that it won’t take much to clog the shaft and stop you in your tracks ... especially when you consider what’s drifting about in the oceans these days!!

My advice would be to avoid the supercharged models unless you are absolutely certain of their history. They need a fair bit of maintenance, and are hard on fuel too...
