Broken handlebar first ride – Sea Doo not standing by their products ...... sick to my stomach. It was brand new with not even two hours on it. Riding on back bay. No rough waters ... July 4th

Faulty – It still being repaired. The computer piece that lets you go in reverse, etc has failed. Repair bill $1200. It is 4 yrs old, very little use. I bought the larger one and the Spark at the same time. We have 3 Seados but as these age out no more of a brand that doesn’t stand by their product.

Great affordable Skis – My wife and I have two 2018 2up sparks with 90hp and ibr. The skis ride great. Think more of a dirtbike vs. full size motorcycle for analogy. No issues with stability. We ride them in intercostal waters in Florida. They are exactly what you should expect, fun skis with good kick and easy fun on the water. I weigh 240 and have zero issues riding mine.

Broken handlebar – We purchased the spark and on the second day in the water while turning it. The handlebar snapped on my son. The break happened among the seam and it was very apparent that the quality of plastic is low. When I called the dealer they made it sound like our fault. Currently headed there to deal with it. Very concerned about quality and safety of craft for my family.

Seadoo spark with ibr – I have 2 2015 sparks with ibr, while I love riding them 1 keeps breaking down with ibr problems, while seadoo replaced once so far I had to pay labor, now off to the shop again I hope they will remove them,as seadoo can't come up with working product

Loads of short duration fun – I bought 2 2up 2015 sparks from someone and they have just 20 hours on them each buying them at less than 10 hours. I ride local tennessee lakes and rivers. They are fun and great for scooting to local marinas for lunch. I foresee issues from what I've read, but not there yet. Riding 2 on one is uncomfortable and they don't seem stable… Read more

enough. One of them will clog up occasionally and if there's 2 on one there's a good chance you'll fall off trying to rock it clear. Still glad i bought them and my adult kids come and see me more.

Great jet ski – I rode everything on the market before I put a deposit down on a seadoo Spark trixx. I ended up picking the spark trixx due to the nimble handling and good after sales care from Shoreline seadoo in Springwood. The riser handle bars make it more versatile than the Yamaha EX and the storage bin has more room too.

Cracked Hull - Do Not Buy a Spark! – I just bought a spark 3 up in June 2017. The hull cracked after 15 hours of operation for no none reason. There is not a scratch or mark on the hull where the crack occurred. The dealer has inspected it and confirmed with a written report to BRP not a scratch or mark in the area of the crack. BRP refuses to pay anything. They just say no… Read more

coverage. The crack is 4 or 5 inches long on the left upper third of the front hull.

We are on a quiet lake with no debris and not many waves. It has never hit anything! We bought one of the floating jet ski docks so it has never been trailored either except by the dealer to our lake. 3 miles. Dealer says only thing he can think of is the wheels on the jet ski dock but none of us believe that either including the dealer who inspected the dock and confirmed nothing unusual in the dock installation. As I research this on line there numerous cases in various forums of a crack in this few hours of operation where they did not hit anything. My exact case.

Very disappointed and will be in touch with a lawyer.

Great value, a few things that they could improve on! – To begin with, the spark in an awesome ski. ive put about 10 hours on it, and I also own a gtr 230. so things I've noticed The good: Cheap to purchase and on fuel A lot of fun, perfect for playing around and jumping and 180s out in the surf. It is much better to jump than a bigger ski. It's easy to launch and bring back in, takes up less room… Read more

in the garage

The plastic hull is a Matte type finish, so it won't scratch up like a gloss.

It's powerful enough for the size, and comfortable

The not so good

It's an efficient engine, but the fuel tank is small - so you get less range than a larger ski.

Being small and not having a sharp V hull, it's really uncomfortable in the chop, and the seat is firmer so you'll be standing up.

The small storage compartment under the handlebars isn't waterproof like on the bigger skis, and it's so small you can't fit an iPhone 6+ in there.

The rebounding ladder isn't as easy to get up on compared to a larger ski

There is no access to the engine under the seat (which I assume is due to the flex of plastics) so you only have that small access panel near your shin, but it's not really good enough to get in there to rinse the engine after salt water use and to spray some anti corrosion spray. But I guess the good thing about no seat hole is that salt water isn't getting in and splashing on the engine as easy.

Being a smaller engine, you are on the throttle a lot harder. As opposed to a 200+ HP engine, your not really using as much throttle to it would be easier on the engine.

You wouldn't regret buying one! Unless you always have to ride long distances through whitecaps and chop

Motocross on water, too much fun hard to hold on at high speed in chop – I have owned my 2up 90 ibr chipped and De restricted for nearly 2 years now and no issues, The spark is amazing for a variety of reasons it's so much fun and it's so economical, my previous was a 4tec seadoo 3up, it's hard to compare because they are so different, the spark is hard to ride at high-speed In the chop it's challenging not boring like… Read more

riding a lounge chair, I have taken it in the surf and that's where it's the most fun it's like a motocross bike on water, I have had big stacks and never broken anything, the only downside is it scratches easily but I don't really care it's for riding not looking pretty.

spark overheating – I bought a spark 2 up in May. In less than 2 hrs on pwc the alarm sounds and check engine message appears. I took it back to dealer, Soggy Bottom in Leesville LA. They reset the computer and tried to send me on my way. I protested and ask them to throughly check it. They kept in their shop for 2 hrs and again told me nothing was wrong. … Read more

Sea doo spark excitement – I bought a spark as it was the first ski on the market that was light. Weighing in at under 200kg it means that we could have on the deck as a tender instead of an inflatable. As for performance I am still running in but so far it is outstanding. The ski comes in a variety of colour schemes mine is liquorice and a three seater which was slightly… Read more

heavier and with a long seat. The basic package does not include a rear step or luggage bin.

The absence of the bin leaves a hole up front and looks a bit naked. I found in fact that it is handy to stuff a waterproof bag in there instead. I can fit towels and beers no problem.

The HO rotex engine is great and really makes a difference in HO sport mode. The ski starts in tour mode and a push of a button ups it to sport. The fuel tank is big enough for a fun day but you do need to keep an eye on fuel. The gauge is pretty accurate on the dash. Speed is in MPH which I find baffling given its a watercraft not a car, even though the two are close to even.

Performance two and three up is good and not to be thought of as a lightweight beginners ski. This is fun and weight for output takes on the big skis easily. The ski flies and turns on a dime. There is an option next year for a brake which you don't need IMO, as the ski pulls up well. Turning is great and stability good. The whole deck can be removed for servicing which is a bonus at service time.

Overall a great looking and fun machine that is exciting to ride. Affordable, fast, fun, light Basic package with no storage bin, speedo in mph not knots
