Garbage, nothing like original quality, buy the original – First up controllers are garbage-they are as responsive as a brick. Many of the games included have scripting errors(sonic the hedgehog marble level 2 and other levels also),mortal kombat does not work-just auto flicks between menu options-cant select anything, unplayable.continually have to select controller type on mkii and mkiii, virtua fighter not all buttons work and controller cant be selected.

Sound card is cheap garbage-many sounds in classic games are changed.

Hard to beleive a company in 2018 cant build a machine from the 90s properly.

Cheap garbage,avoid.

Awesome console – If you loved playing old school games aka Alec the kid then this is the console for you! Awesome games that need your full attention and your best strategies to play. I promise you that you won’t be disappointed in this console.

Quick Retro Fix – Picked this little gem up at Target recently for $89, great value if you're after a quick retro blast. It has a few misgivings and it's not perfect but all in all a pretty good effort if you're willing to look past it's flaws. 1. It sounds horrible, not the true 16 bit magical sound were accustomed to from Sega. 2. Graphics ain't that crash hot either but it's passable.

3. Controllers are cheap and flimsy but at least there wireless even if it's the old infrared. You'll need a little screw driver to open the back,

4. 40 original games ain't bad, would have liked to seen some bigger titles, the other 40 bootleg games pretty much suck.

5.You can't save your progress, damn!

Now for some good points....

1. It plays old cartridges, any region, I've been reading it's hit and miss and won't play everything. There is a save feature built into the old megadrive carts so all is not lost.

2. It has 2 controller ports so get yourself a corded controller, it's heaps better.

3. Value for money. If you went out and tried to buy all these games plus a console you would be up for hundreds, the old megadrive gear is starting to shoot up in value.

That's about it, the system ain't perfect, just enjoy it for what it is. It's great for the kids and is sure to bring back a few memories for any kid of the 90's
