Absolute rubbish, followed instructions but still after a day of curing, it just pulled away from the brickwork. Have used this before and was excellent, now i won't be buying this again. Show details

Going to Use this for Everything! – I needed to "glue" bricks to a floor tile. I don't rate all Selley's products but this works a treat. I can lift 8 bricks that are glued to a 400 x 400 floor tile by ONE brick. I'm impressed with that. I glued a neighbour's concrete stepper that had broken and they were very pleased. If I need to glue a sole of a shoe again, this is what I will… Read more
use, not their Shoe glue rubbish!
Only thing is it's grey in colour so you need to be careful else it will be visible.
Has Withstood QLD weather for 2 yrs and Counting – Used this 2 yrs ago to build 3 outdoor planter boxes using Bunnings pavers. Planted fig, avocado and grape, all with aggressive root systems. No problems. They have withstood the test of QLD weather. Tip; if you apply it in the wrong spot, rather than trying to clean it off immediately, wait till it dries completely and it should just peel… Read more
off. Edit: Jan 2026; it's 3 years now, have built more and all still good; no movement, no degradation that I can see.
Poor batch ? – I used this for a temporary ply mold for a fibreglass job. Used big wide butt blocks with ample surface area nailed together while curing. No cure after 24 hrs in warm but not hot conditions. Have used this before and was quite good. Maybe poor quality control. Maybe using it it wrong but if so it might need better instructions on the cartridge. The adhesive has not hardenened to any degree at all on the end of the nozzle 24 hrs after use.
Useless. Doesn't bond to concrete – Product doesn't do what it says. Install of concrete letter box to slab. Applied product as advised. It forms a silicone like rubber which isn't hard even after recommended curing time. Give it a wobble and it breaks loose. Cleaned all surfaces again and tried second application. Same result. Can see no use for this product.
The Best Retaining Wall Adheisive – I used Shelleys Liquid Nails Landscape to bond the courses of retaining wall concrete blocks together. Very strong & I would defiantly use it again. I did have to demolish part of one of the walls & with crow bar, bolster & lump hammer, it was very hard to prize the blocks apart. The blocks tendered to shatter but the bond didn’t let go.
This Selleys doesn't work – I bought Liquid Nails Landscape because I had used Selleys product' Liquid Nails' in carpentry work with good results . I assumed it would meet its claim of bonding masonry products like concrete. Small pieces of slate were coming away from a wall and I also needed to secure bolts in concrete. It wouldn't stick to the slate and was too weak to… Read more
hold the bolts. Both fixtures didn't need to be super strong just hold firm.
This product is like a weak synthetic rubber that rips when cured. If it can't behave like a good adhesive what good is it?
I can't imagine what you could use it for. Avoid.
