While the service was efficient, my quote was overpriced. I was concerned when the electrician was suggesting I need further electrical repairs. All I wanted was 3 straightforward jobs such as replacing fire alarms. I also felt compelled to go with the overpriced quote. Not happy about the membership deal as well. Sales tactics for electrical work are unnecessary.
Absolutely rubbish customer service … instead of helping they’re busy passing on unsolicited advise. Nobody is going to call unless they’ve tried to solve the issue on their own first and haven’t found a solution … don’t commit to a same day service if you’re unable to do the basics !!!
Called Service Experts for a quote to replace 3 powerpoints in kitchen. The quote was $1042 (regular rate) or $948 (member rate). to say they could know longer commit to the appointment that has been confirmed and needed to do a different time which did not suit me. I explained I had already accommodated the inconvenience of waiting the entire day with no hot water electricity and wanted to keep the original appointment.
I was told this was not possible as I had other more urgent jobs and was met with a period of excuses and their problems with scheduling which is not a concern the customer should need to hear about
I was then told they could come out Monday which was completely unacceptable. Again it’s misleading and false advertising saying same-day service when I placed a call Friday morning and the earliest they could do was Monday
When I pushed back saying please keep the original appointment and I don’t appreciate being pushed back the night before and that there should be some kind of reduction in the callout fee they can’t make the original scheduled appointment.
I received no response over text but an email this morning at 7am cancelled and said they don’t want to disengage as I had been disrespectful when all I was simply doing was keeping them accountable stating the facts and asking for a minimum level of service

Excellent service and repair of battery so my husband can go bike riding again – Many emails several phone calls nothing but exceptional help myself not being tech savvy trying to send photos as attachments tested myself but it worked hubby and bike back on the road

Oh my goodness, so so so much junkmail from this company. Seriously an unaddressed envelope just about every other week with fridge magnets. Stop distributing these. It is so wasteful. I won't book them based on this relentless junk mail drops.
Warning! Overcharged and shocked by the such a company without integrity. They quoted a price of $900 to install one valve while other local plumber asked for $315 to install two valves who did a beautiful job for us. It feels like this is just a fraud company.
The job quote was so high I had 2 independent plumbers come out to quote for the same job. The other plumbers were appalled at the price quoted $8,000 for sleeving of a sewer pipe that they both independently said didn’t need sleeving and if it did the price would have been less than half. blocked again a week later I have now paid less than $500 and had to have it re jet cleaned to unblock it. I would suggest dont ever use this business they over charge and don’t do the work properly.

at that point, the old pipe was already cut and removed, leaving us with little choice.
The job involved replacing and installing roughly 2 meters of PVC downpipe and two joints, taking less than four hours. The cost of materials is under $50, making the final price completely outrageous! The service felt opportunistic, and I would strongly caution others not to user their services.

unsuccessful in the sales pitch and I had to reduce the job down to just the one necessary piece of work, as the prices were extremely high. The actual time spent on the repair was about 10 minutes tops - he was so quick and efficient. I worked out later that the hourly rate was around $2400/hr good grief!
Prices quoted for other replacement parts were inflated by about 500% compared to basic prices that can be found for comparable items in your ordinary hardware store.
So be careful with what you sign up for with this company. I have no problem with the quality of the work done, nor the person who turned up, but they charge enormously high fees and so beware.

Flat fee of $764.50 for 2pm Saturday + $55 quote – $55 quote cost disclosed and then flat fee of $764.50 for 2pm Saturday afternoon and the flat fee is not disclosed on the phone which I find to be deceptive. I would have gone elsewhere if this was disclosed - job took one hour in total from arrival to leaving. Happy with the work however very shocked with the price.
Be very very careful. They are all about overcharging and lack of transparency – charge $330 per hour to investigate a problem. quote $3800 fixed with no breakdown of labour vs materials and refused to give a break down. Got another quote, same work $900.00. they are busy signing you up to a membership , i suggest donte. i gave them a 2nd chance and again was totally underwhelmed and felt taken advantage of.

for an itemised receipt which is a legal requirement they made it extremely difficult and it was full of discrepancies. They lied about waiving the initial call out and diagnosis fee, they simply added it back in later, even though the gas company had already diagnosed the problem and discussed it with the service expert plumber on site. If you have cash to burn by all means give them a call, otherwise I wouldn't. This is how they treat their 'members.' I have tried to discuss this with them before leaving a review however they have refused to adequately address my invoice concerns.
They do a good job but charge like wounded bulls – I signed up for their home protection plan just under a year ago. is. They hide behind their "list pricing" rather than a rate time/labour. They also won't tell you what the "list price" is when you call or even a rough estimate. You must wait until the plumber arrives, allegedly so he can assess the amount of work involved. Another red flag I didn't notice at first.
Recently our kitchen sink mixer tap died and knowing new ones are expensive we decided to save up for a good-but-not-too-good one before calling on the plumber to simply install it. We thought, just labour and an hour or so, so maybe a couple of hundred dollars. After all, a quick google search for plumber's rates will tell you they range from $50-$85/hr plus materials and call out fee (but not in my case right?). When he arrived the plumber said he recommends also replacing the isolation taps under the sink just to make sure everything under there is new, even though the house itself is only 4 years old. Ok I said, another $50 I thought, why not? Queue the rude awakening! After consulting "the list" and barely glancing at the tap/sink he happily tells me it the cost will be $647 inclusive of the member discount, and as I was to find out at the end, didn't include GST so the total outlay was a whopping $711!
Let's break this price down: Bunnings have isolation taps between $15-36 (avg ~$25) so I think I'm pretty spot on there for $50 for two. Removing these parts, this leaves $597 for labour and maybe some admin costs for those back in the office. As he was on site for 1.5 hours that's $398/hr!!! When I freaked out and exclaimed that a brain surgeon doesn't get paid that much, he said I was making him uncomfortable and I didn't have to accept the quote; he could just leave and being a member I wouldn't have to pay the call out fee (wow, generous). I also felt a little goaded when he suggested I could just do it myself, in a "if you think what we do is so easy" tone. But with the prospect of having to find another plumber, plus the money I'd already sunk to become a "member", plus the goading, I told him to proceed. And now I have a profound sense of regret that I didn't just show him the door.
It's such a shame because for the most part they are good at what they do, and they seem genuinely surprised (insulted?) that anyone would suggest they are worth anything less. Btw a brain surgeon who works 20 hrs/week would be paid around ~$300/hr (thanks Google).

Service provided – We visited Nick scali shop today at Moorabin . We been served by Eva . She was truly amazing. She was friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly helped us to find perfect couch. Good service at a high price – The company was responsive and on time which is a positive in the world of trades. The people were friendly and respectful. The price however was more than double the price quoted by a local plumber we consulted after getting the quote.
