Shimano Eclipse 7.0

Fantastic rod – I purchased a shimano eclipse telescopic rod so as to have my soft plastic gear on hand in the car at all times, at first I was skeptical about it being a telescopic rod as to wear and tear not ever owning one before but I can tell you after 2 years of owning it and flicking plastics hundreds if not thousands of times I can say it is truly a magic piece of kit so much so I am going to buy another exactly the same to us of the jetty. After a day flicking at the beach into gutters etc. chasing flathead or trouties come home and a good rinse under fresh water both extended and closed and your ready to go again. It fits neatly into a wading bag so no need to be trying to fit it into your car just put all your kit in your bag and away you go, no tackle boxes or buckets a small selection of plastics and teamed with a 2500 reel makes the ideal combo for soft plastic flicking.
