Shine Pro 18 in 1 Dishwashing Pods

Rubbish! Don’t clean and dishes smell like chemicals after! – These are rubbish, they do NOT clean your dishes and make them smell like chemicals after they’ve been ‘washed’. I even tried 2 tablets to see if that would clean them, but No!

Best value dishwasher pod-dozens of other uses at this price – They're currently out of stock and the more expensive pods arent doing their job as well as the Pro-Shine. We have never had any bad smell from them or any other pods nor the foaming mentioned in our Ariston washer. I Hope Woolies have them back on their shelves very soon.

Does it clog the dishwasher? – First time used this product today. One pod in the dispenser. My Bosch washer would not pump out after starting as normal. I turned it off, opened it up (first time ever) and there was soap everywhere! Washer would not pump after 2 resets. I took the trays out, bailed the very soapy water out. went through its program. Anyone else had similar problems. I’m not keen to use the pod until I hear it was just an anomaly. Ah I see a review like mine on the right here. Might ask Woolies for a refund…..

Love it – Was asked by tester of water system what had I changed since last visit told him I using shine he said water test was cloudy after throwing out 40 pods I think it may have been disinfectant not happy jan found pods cleaned everything loved them how I wish I hadn’t thrown them out not happy again jan

They are OK and clean dishes but smell bad – For the price they do their job but smells like warm pee. This is especially bad after I first open the door after a cycle. I wouldn't buy them again.

they broke my dishwasher lol – first time using these, and came home to an unfinished wash with water all around the dishwasher. opened it up and it was full of suds. now its broken :) would not recommend

pod packaging – Not a bad product. Buy regularly. However do not get 20 pods as usually 1 bursts effecting the quality of the other pods. I have found this occurs every time I purchase this product. May need to consider firmer packaging.

Would NOT recommend – I have used these three times now with varying levels of dish ‘ dirtiness’ and failed every time and needed to be re washed with my usual tablet. Cheap isn’t always better sometimes.

Shine Pro disabled my dishwasher – Initially I was very happy with these pods, they cleaned very well and the price was great. I had always purchased Finish but money was tight so I tried these. After two weeks of using Shine Pro, my dishwasher stopped working. $145 later, the technician advised that over sudsing was the culprit which caused it to malfunction. I guess you get what you pay for.

Worked better than Finish and Fairy – These tablets are amazing for the value of money. I rarely rinse or soak my dishes and these tablets cleaned nearly everything including baked on, without fail. I also overload sometimes and still cleaned. They also dried the dishes so well I turned the rinse aid down on and still dried amazing even on quick wash and Eco wash which I rarely use.… Read more

There was a fresh scent after the cycle which I rarely get with other brands. My dishwasher is a Bosch. They even perform good in my Bench-top dishwasher that doesn't dry on Eco or quick when using these the loads came out much dryer. The only thing that bothered me is the tablet is quite foamy and my small dishwasher struggled a little bit, and might have been the cause of a noise i was getting from the drain pump on the Bosch. I will update when I use again one day. I will also say I've used most tablets on the market cheap and expensive, and these are one of the better ones.

Absolutely fab – Tried these pods as they were cheap , bought alongside my usual fairy platinum , with a view that at that price they were probably not going to be any good . They are actually amazingly good . All my dishes , pans , etc come out really clean . I’ll definitely be buying these ones from now on .

Absolutely fantastic – We love the Shine pods. We used to always use Finish, but, after accidentally discovered these while staying in a serviced apartment on holiday we were gobsmacked how good they are compared to others. major cleaning failures. With all products from time to time something might not clean well, but, that is rare. We also do have a quality machine with metal blades and we don't put high expectations on the machine. If I think a pot is better off being hand washed it will be hand washed. But, for 99% of the day to day dishes they have not missed a beat. Am only sorry others have had any negative experiences at all, as we are happy and are happy to save a mint on dishwasher tablets any day.

Not good – Doesn't clean half my like finish or even fairy tabs. Have to re wash half the plates. Never had this prob wirh Fairy tabs. They look good out of the box though ..

Brilliant! – The only dishwasher detergent I have used, that dries plastic with no residual water spots/residue. Works great, regardless of length of cycle. Some packets have had the odd popped/burst pod, but a small price to pay for value for money and ease of use.

Inexpensive and effective – Soooo cheap and yet works better than expensive brands. Smells great, cleans well, if used correctly with rinse aids leaves glasses shiny and stain free. Love it and recommend it.

No Good – They clean well but after using 3 packs I found lots of broken pods at the bottom of each packet so they're obviously not strong enough to handle grocery delivery/normal handling most times. pods it pretty much turns them bright orange and blue. I've also noticed when using any glass cup to get a drink of water that there's always bubbles on the sides and I have to rinse all glasses before using. These pods also dont rinse perfect in my opinion.

Don not buy they do not work they leave dishes dirty – These tablets are useless simply do not work. I had to run the dish washer 3 times. I normally buy the aldi tablets but was at Woolworths so I tried there own brand of shine tablets and they are rubbish
