Same as review above. Online assures that it's an adhesive and best to use for sticking soles back on shoes. I checked with Ai - same. Recommended for shoe repair. But, even the product doesn't say it's an adhesive - just a sealant. Probably does a good job at what it's actually made for. Goo is the right name for this. Like a thick silicon sealant - I found it difficult to work with and visually messy. Regardless, I gooped it on using the best part of a tube. Lots of overflow when you join surfaces - a blade will remove most once it sets but it doesn't look good. I'd use contact adhesive in the future. I'll report later if shoe falls apart again

Purchased in for $20.

Here we are - less than a month later. Heels are beginning to separate. I know it's because I remove shoe heel-first One shoe I used this product - the other a Selleys contact adhesive for shoes. Same result. Did not hold back on adhesive used on both shoes - almost a tube of adhesive each. My suggestion - you ever buy shoes, see if you can get shoes that are stitched.

Is for cosmetic use only – Researched all the shoe glue reviews to glue a sole back onto a shoe and Shoe Goo was almost always recommended first. Wrong. Sole came apart after just a week. Went back to leather goods business who supplied it and they admitted they only used it around the joins to seal out water, a bit like silicon is used. They said the best glue for my purpose was contact cement/glue. Don't waste your money.
